can anyone tell me the reason for ibs(irritable bowel syndrom) and what are the remedial measures that we can take for this at home?

If you are suffering IBS , it is because you have a sensitive stomach, maybe you are allergic to certain foods and when you get stress out.
You should see your doctor so you will know what is the best way to cure this.
The doctor can explain it to you further.

I didn't look what country you are from so will address this question from the perspective of a US person. I have had IBS for 30+ years. I'm not sure what causes it. I could find the answer by doing a search.
I can tell you some dietary guidance. I've been told not to eat what they call insoluble fiber. Two examples are lettuce and corn. These foods are not processed well even if we have a healthy digestive system. I don't know of any home remedies. I am only on dietary restrictions. My doctor has not given me medication.
