hello there. As for me, yes. but depending upon my mood. anyhow, i feel that one of the reasons why a person appreciate and don't appreciate a music somehow depends on the age bracket and the personality a certain person has. For an instance, i am the rock star type, then usually i would love rock music and the type of music closest to rock. for me, it all varies actually.

I remember when I was in high school I always have a lyrics magazine with me and I always sang the latest ones. But right now, I don't even know the latest song and its singers. I don't maybe I'm just busy that's why I'm not into it or the quality of music that we have now.

Well, I am just about to turn 20 years old next month, and I absolutely hate this new generation of music, I hate it with all of my being! I hate Lady Gaga, I hate Justin Bieber, I pretty much hate every single piece of music that has came out past the 80's, exluding a few rare pieces that I actually enjoy. Most of the newer songs that I can stand to listen to aren't in the mainstream music area. I prefer stuff from back in the late 60's to late 80's, I really, really like the 80's stuff. I find that in the 80's the songs really had a certain power in them with a great chorus that just made you feel alive. The songs started out kind of slow, then they would build up, and then bam, a big strong chorus. I still think stuff like Pink Floyd, Bob Marley, Bruce Springsteen, Billy Idol, etc, etc are way better to listen to than the bands of this day and age.
