How Many Times We Have To Remind Newbies Not To Post Ads Here?

If you want to promote something, there's a better way of doing it. To the new members of MyLot, don't you know that your advertisement-like topics will soon be deleted, the response of others will also be deleted, and your earnings including the earnings of those who responded to your topic will also get deducted?

I used to have a friendly chat with newbies and tell them when something is not allowed. I just report them now. I've had to many people get all huffy asking who I think I am to tell them what is and is not permitted. Beep it. They can get deleted as fast as 1-2-3 and I save my words.

Its starting to sound like a broken record when I have to keep saying it over and over again. One person yesterday was selling stuff in here, I just reported it rather then saying anything. I am just so tired of saying something, and then having it deleted as it is I went from $10.20 down to $9.99 over night. So that just goes to show how many of these posts are being deleted, and its not worth the time to even reply to them. I think its just best when we see the links report it, then put reported in the keywords so others will stay away.

Thank God it happened to you days before the cut-off date for payout and not at the end of the month!.. Else you will not receive your payment by the 15th.. Yes, better hit the report link than waste your time trying to appease them and then risk missing the payout.

And what way may they promote their stuff? What is your suggestion?

My guess is : about as many times as we will see different versions of "Why don't people answer my discussions?!?!?!?!?!" and maybe half as many times as the "How much money can I earn from mylot?" and "I'm new, how do I do this?" Reading the FAQ is quite difficult for some. Lots of letters and words ;-)

As a newbie I would read the FAQ before even considering a response, let alone placing an advert. These people clearly do not think first, or don't care.
