Our life is an odd mixture of different moments of action and inaction, work and rest. Work provides with an inner creative joy. It saves us from the dullness and boredom of life. I definitely feels such way in my line of work. I am specifically in the field of Education and I am working as an Online English Teacher..Well, it sounds a new avenue in teaching, for a traditional one is centered on a classroom based instruction but in this area, the instructional pace is delivered online and our students are not here in my country for we cater to international students particularly Korean students. The Koreans also manage the company and we are given a quota on a daily basis in which all we have to do is to complete it.. I must say that though there were rough times.. I really enjoyed doing this kind of work for it all gives me the benefits and advantages.. For one, I am just merely seating in a comfy chair whereas if I teach in a school, I'll burn out standing and teaching to multifarious classes,, and also, I earn as much as I can receive and lastly, my workplace is just a bus away.. Haay, I really love my work and I can say that if there is no work, there is no joy in life.. How about you????

Hi smiley, Your job sounds actually pretty cool! I love my job too. For years I worked in an office doing auto insurance claims. I love, love, loved it! I was a very quiet person and it seemed perfect for me. I couldn't imagine myself doing anything else, really. Then along came alot of circumstances that pretty much shook up my world. I found myself needing a job...any job to support my kids. I took a job at a family owned convenience store. I'd never done that type of work and I so hated it. So So hated it! Still, it paid the rent and put food on the table. It would do until I could find something more up my line. Well, 16 yrs later and I'm still there. I grew to love it. It's the people. It's located in a small town and being family owned, you get really close to the people that own the store as well as the customers. I left a couple of times but always returned. At this stage in my life, I don't see myself starting up over anywhere else but you never know.

make money teaching online - It is a good way to make money teaching online. I wish I could have such a chance as well.
Hello smileyanchel. I agree with you that life is a combination of different moments of action and inaction, work and rest. I am a teacher as well. I have been engaged in English teaching ever since my graduation from normal college for English education. I have to say that I love my teaching work and my students. It is a pleasure to work. I have always been happy with my work. I think that it is a gift as well as a bless to me that I can work as long as I can. Standing in the classrooms to teach for hours can be very tiring and thirsty. We cannot sit down teaching the students in class, but we can bring a cup of water with us to the classroom. It does help me a lot when feeling thirsty. Enjoy your online English teaching, friend.

Yes i do work. i REALLY LOVE TO DO THE WORK. it doesn't matter that what type of work it is. if we have an interest in work then one can perform nay type of work related to the particular field. one can't perform that work in which one has no interest because one can't perform that work with efficiency.

I still don't have a work yet. I would really love to have a work. It should be a work that you love because if you do not love your work and just think about what you will be getting at the end of the month then you won't last long in your job. Its the matter of loving your work, loving of what your doing. Because when you love it, you will smile about it. Even if you tired of your work you will never quit because you love it and you can still smile about it even tho hard circumstances or situations arise. You will not hate it if bad things happen instead work on it to be able to come up with a solution. When you love your work everything good will happen and flow with you.

I work almost everyday. I'm a freelance writer. I love what I do except yesterday, I just got sick of words in general. This is because I had too many assignments going at once. I was writing an article for examiner.com, fixing, an article for textbroker.com. All the while, I was watching a video that I needed to review and posting here. Lastly, I was listening to five chapters of the bible, so I could write my daily blog post. I'm reading the whole bible cover to cover and reporting on a blog. All in all, it was just too many words. I'm kind of back today, although not in top form. I finished my second on the textbroker article, and I'm going to get the video done by today. I'm also doing a little posting here as you can see. It won't be anything like yesterday though, which was a 14-16 hour day minimum. My poor brain just can't handle that on a regular basis.

Oh yes I work, but I can't say that I love my work. I joined this job as a teaching faculty temporarily because I had other plans which would need some time to ripen. In the mean time I decided that instead of sitting at home, I could work somewhere and gain some experience that would help me in future than showing an year of no work. So with that in mind I joined this job. I have been here for the past 9 months and within this span of time I have seen all the types of people one can see at a workplace. Lazy, enthusiastic, egoistic, the scapegoat, the sincere, the honest one and such. It has been wonderful working, but I have to say that I do not completely like my job because of various management reasons rather than interests. I love to teach, and I was very much active in my study days by taking up classes for my teachers. But working as a teacher comes with more work than anticipated. When I joined, I thought I'd have the whole day to sit with books and study and transfer the same amount of knowledge that I gain to the students, but the work environment at work is filled with so many other works which should be done by the management people, but instead is done by me and fellow colleagues. It takes a lot of time and instead of spending that time preparing for better classes, we are doing some stupid work. Not only that , even if we are given some other works, we would like to do it out way right, but the top level think that we are brainless characters and they dictate to us about the work. They do not let us use our creativity and interest to come up with some easy of doing work, instead they scrub us down and say that we should the work their way. There is no satisfaction in my work here and that is why even though I like to teach and educate, I'm not liking this job I hold presently. After everything, I'm not complaining cos this job is paying partly for my food and other needs. Also being in close contact with students keep me energized all the time and I learn more and more each day. bourne

Yes, I do. I am currently and English tutor to a Korean. I never really thought teaching is fun but as days of tutoring went by I learned how to love teaching and now I am really enjoying my job. It is really easy to do. And I feel that I am also blessed to have a good student. I would probably hate teaching if my student was naughty.

I work for an IT company but I am contended of my work. Contented on the sense that I am happy or not. That is what I feel right now. I guess that this will be the time to love my work more. I am serious on my work but always, my efforts are not enough.

Practically we work to earn a living... We choose our to what is fit for us. Actually, I am unemployed today but I have some works on my own that I really enjoyed much like having an employer. When I work I always pour out my best talent into it. Wholeheartedly, every task is being done because in it we discover our self. In every work you do, you should have a disposition of happiness in order to make it easier. Because no matter how miserable or strong we do, the amount of work is just the same. So better be happy. By the way, I am considering to do a part time job in online tutorial with Korean students. We'll be on the same boat, enjoying the journey!

I do work, and while I like it, I don't exactly love it, so I think I should look for something else after a while. But I am not really sure what direction I should go in, which does complicate things of course. But since I don't hate my job either, it is okay if it takes me a while to figure it out!
