sometimes you think of a very good topic for discussion and then you hit upon an idea . You just typed everything and you wanted to post that. You got a discussion in your mind which you think can help you to get many responses. Suddenly you see that someone else had just posted that same topic a few minutes ago...how do you feel? Will you respond to that discussion or will you just ignore it? Will you be angry? Will you post your discussion again?

Great minds can think alike at times. I have run across this myself. I do respond to theirs and if I get no responses, oh well. I have learned that if you want to make your new post stand out, be sure and make the first two lines inviting, as they see that preview also. Good ideas are good, but they need to be intriquing. I am working on that myself, the intriquing part.

I have done that a couple of times - it tends to be with topical subjects, where you and somebody else are typing at the same time.
It can't be helped and I certainly don't get angry by it - I usually respond to the other discussion with a 'great minds think alike' type response!

it always happen to have another person with same idea you have. I will not be angry. instead i will send link of my own discussion and share my thoughts and agree with that person. if it happens to me that i would meet someone thinking the same thing i am thinking for a moment, i would be very glad to befriend that person. its really amazing...

well i doubt that is highly likely because there's one in a million chance that you guys may think alike again...
