Fishing in the Dark

In my youth I remember going fishing on a few occasions. Although those fishing trips were few I recall them as something that I favored with much delight and they became one of my fondest memories.
Lately I have been going fishing with Bernie and loving every minute of it. At first the impatient side of me couldn't relax enough to enjoy myself. That didn't last long though. Once I got the hang of casting a line it all came back to me. I sit and relax, enjoy the scenery, listen to the sounds of nature, and spending quality time with my man.
Some find fishing to be quite boring. If we take the time to enjoy the simple things in life, life is better. Mine has become the best it has ever been.
My thoughts on life...cast a line and enjoy.

Enjoying time with love ones: totally priceless.
Fishing is a very enjoyable hobby and I'm glad that you find the patience for it and am hooked on it now, eh?

I never used to enjoy fishing and I guess I still don’t but my daughter and husband love it. I like going with them because it gives me a chance to be with them and sit in the nice fresh air and read a book. I usually take our cat with us, he loves it, we walk him on a lead along the river and he explores until he is tired and then will go to sleep on my lap. I enjoy it, cosy family time although they rarely catch any fish!

Fishing has become the past time I like I was 8 years old... I like this exercise patience and passion... I like fish, participate in the sports psychology as I grew older, experienced experts, with different wrestler fishing become more challenging and fun. If you have other rivers, selection of environment, the coral sea, the qing-cao-hu etc... I agree, it is really a stress release activity.

I went fishing with a friend once. He caught a catfish (which he threw back) and I noted, "That looks more like a kittenfish than a catfish..." (It was about the size of a kitten.)

hi ElusiveButterfly that sounds delightful and if you are really'relaxing and enjoying nature all around you and
enjoying being with the one you love it sure cannot
be boring. Too many people burn out ona ll the excitement
of living life on the edge then nothing pleases them and
they stay bored.Instead why do not they learn to enjoy
simple things in life? Life will be better then.

Hi, ElusiveButterfly. I can only imagine that fishing can be very peaceful. When a person is surrounded by nature and the still waters, it is a very pleasant feeling. I have never went fishing in the dark before. I am glad that your man was right beside you the whole entire time.

I think, it is not the fishing atmosphere you enjoyed but the nice company of your man. Yes, a loving partner can make any worse situation into a beautiful one.I appreciate your fond of fishing at this age of 52. You should have trained to be patient at this age, I bet.

Line Fishing has been a favorite past time of mine since I was 8 years old... I like the practice of patience and the thrill of the catch... I love the fish psychology involved in the sport as I grew older and have experience angling with different experts, the fishing became more challenging and fun... where you try-out other environments like rivers, lake, coralline, sea grass etc... I do agree that it is truly a stress releasing activity.
