Well everything was quite normal today except for the fact that I was unexpectedly treated by a friend to some food. The food was great and of course psychologically its pretty delicious because it's free
It was her, my friend, birthday six days ago and instead of me treating her I was the one who got a treat from her.

you're very much welcome, sir.. :) I really have no intentions of treating anyone a while ago... it's just that I don't like the scenario wherein there's the three of us in front of the table yet you're the only one not eating.. _

Oh yes, I've gotten surprises from people when they weren't expected. The most recent one I can remember is on my mother's birthday. It was her birthday, but she bought us all cell-phones. I was ecstatic. It was my first cell phone.

Free food and good company make me happy too
I have a cousin who drops by my office every now and then and would say she is hungry and would like to eat somewhere delicious. Mind you, this cousin is pretty thrifty but she does have her moments of splurging. I always end up having a good time whenever we go out.

Its really nice to be treated to anything by your friends and love ones. I'm usually the one to treat my friends and relatives but on this occasion it was the other way around because I'm on a tight budget. Its fun to eat or go out with people you are comfortable with. Some people like me or in this case debbie loves to see friends and relatives happy when we treat them to food

I agree with saphrina. The next time you go out for ice cream or something, bring her along and pay for her ice-cream. It's the least you can do! She didn't have to pay for you!

You can really enjoy something when it's absolutely free. You get to be happy and don't even spend a dime for it. I think that is pretty fun. I also had tried that treating others and being treated. LOL
I just love things for free and when you share it with the one's special to you. Say belated happy bday to your friend for me.. See yah round!

i love treats! especially the ones that come from elaborate surprises my friends say that i'm such a difficult person to surprise...because i'm the one whose usually doing the surprising and the pranks and stuff
not sure if you can call it a 'treat', but i do love those other type of surprises from people who i haven't seen in a long while suddenly coming up to me to give back the money they owe me!

It's not a treat but it sure is a surprise haha.

Nice friends you have :) I think in Norway there's a tradition where the one who has a birthday has all his friends treating him like a king, which is the opposite to what we do in Bulgaria, so it's like your friend got it right for me, not the opposite.
Surprises like this can always make you feel great.
