Basketball will surely surpass soccer if the former will have a big venue that could accommodate a lots of spectators. Basketball has its own world cup with the FIBA Basketball World Championships. It draws a lot of crowd but the venue is can contain only a small portion of those basketball fans. Also, FIBA has lesser teams than FIFA. If FIBA will surely have like 30 countries competing, it can surely energize every country in that competition. Maybe, this is the chance that other countries will make headlines and staged an upset to the elite teams in the FIBA World Championship. For this, basketball could surely influence more people than soccer.
