Do you really put any thought into your questions on here?

Or do you just try to think of as many random things that you can? I'm actually really curious, i see some good topics, but i see a LOT of the same people posting the same type of questions over and over and over. Most all of those being ones that are merely asking for a yes or no answer. In addition to that, do you put any thought in your replies or do you cheat by using some sort of "signature" that you attach to the end of every single one of your posts. I see a few that do that often. They answer with a word or to and then it's the generic attached sig or comment to follow it up, trying to give the appearance of a longer answer. Thanks in advance for responding. ;)

I try to put some thought into my questions...but no one seems to be bothered to answer. Or maybe they just aren't seen. Most of the questions I see are "What's your favourite colour, drink, book,TV show" etc. and I'm sure no one's bothered about what my response to that is. There are very few questions that warrant a proper discussion. But you can find them if you have the time to spend looking for them. I don't cheat. I type out all my responses based on my interest in the topic.

Some people are quickly discouraged by the very few answers (and therefore money) that they get from trying to start a 'proper' discussion, and eventually end up either leaving myLot or starting topics like "Do you think that yellow is a prettier colour than blue?", or similar meaningless threads. For my part, I usually try to raise the interest of my readers by posting about things that also interest me. I also try to get the readers to actually think about what I wrote and give me proper feedback. This is not always easy, considering the amount of mindless posters who are only here for the money. Sad, really. Nevertheless, I keep trying. There are also many good people here. And even if no one's interested in my topics, at least I still have the pleasure to research my subjects and write my articles.

I do try to think of topics that I believe would be of interest and are current topics for today. Alot of times though, someone else already posted a topic similar to the one I was thinking about! As for my replies, I always think about a good response instead of a typical yes or no answer.

This is 3 months old. So by now, you see the changes and the rules. However, I think that there still are a lot of people not putting thoughts into anything. I personally do.I try to reply to everyone, and answer honestly from my heart.

It does certainly seem like it has gotten much better. :) I'm pleased with it thus far, my only gripe now it that it seems like it is even harder to get replies to topics that you DO put more thought into. Unless of course it is someone with some sort of dramatic Jerry Springer story. ;D

I try to follow the rules by posting quality questions and answers but its difficult as not many people like to answer question that require them to write more than a couple of sentences. So now, i just follow the crowd. Post simple questions and try to answer in a simple form. No brain drain here.

Yes, see mine (questions). Althought they may be a little 'too' thoughtful for any to answer. For replies, definitely.

I try to put some thought into my questions and answers. I also try to have interesting, fun or touching subjects that I write about. And, sometimes I even get up on a soapbox, realize it and then don't put the post at all (really, who wants to hear rantings?).

The most exciting thing here on myLot is reading and responding to discussions, in plain words, I love communicating. The last week I received my first payment from myLot: 18,50 dollars and I sent about 1000 messages, so you can see how low are the earnings here, so I'm demonstrating to you that we are here above all for communicating with people. When I decide to respond to a discussion I always try to say something more,I try always to say what I think about a lot of subjects.... so I always put any thought into questions here on myLot.
