Is there a chance that Final Fantasy 8 will have remake?

One day, While I'm net surfing, I have read a blog about FF VIII-2!!! After reading the blog, I noticed that other said that it's not true and other stated that Square Enix is planning of to remake just like FF X-2 some said that it was released but a total failure!!! Now in this discussion let's talk about it if there is really a chance for Final Fantasy 8 will have remake. If you'll ask me if there is? Well I really don't know but I hope and I would be glad if ever there will be because I'm a die-hard fan of FF8 and I'm sure that many final fantasy players also will be glad to have a FF8-2. Here are some informations that I have read, following the story of Final Fantasy VIII from an alternative perspective. Each member plays an original character, and with the guidance of formal missions and major canon events as well as original, non-canon scenarios. The map that will be used is the same as in the original. OF course, the Triple Triad is still in the game. The 3 Garden are still there (Balamb, Trabia, and Galbadia). Also the Guardian Forces are still present and magics also. Well, that's all I have known but still I'm confused if it's all true or just a fan-made website, One day we'll know it if it's true once the Company released it but if not, well sorry!!! But if you will be asked, do you agree that Final Fantasy VIII will have a remake?
