Hi everyone, a question to you. Can climb a tree? how did you learn it and when? when i was a teenager, we played cricket in play ground situated in my village and there were a family near our play ground. they had more than 10 mango trees having very sweet in taste. we were too naughty then and always stole ripe mangoes by climbing tree. actually i had no idea how to climb a tree but as time passed by i had learnt it. its true that my greediness towards those mangoes also worked here. anyway, the old man of that family chased us with a cudgel if he found us on the tree. we got feared and ran to and fro where we hurt many times. later i become experienced in climbing tree except coconuts. so what about you? please share and thanks in advance.

Climbing a tree is something i have never done and i do not any plans to give it a try in the near future until and unless my lover asks me to climb the tree and pick one for her LOL.we did steal mangoes in my school days but never had to climb trees.....we used the stones in there and aimed for the riped ones as we were really smart then which is less strenuous compared to climbing the trees---morever those tress where on the other side of a big wall so theres no way we climb that big for a fruit.great day.

hi sunny! i can't blame you since you grew up in the city? maybe if you grew up in a province like me, you can also experience climbing in a tree. its fun sunny, really fun! well, what you and your friends are something that we also do! hehe but i am not that good in aiming and so i leave it to my cousins. my role is just to pick those that they have aimed! wow sunny, your such a good lover to be willing to do something for your love, even if its something that you have never done before...look what love can do!

@Annavi ----- You gotta show me one tree now...i can prove that climbing a tree has nothing to do with experience all you need is a strong grip and ohh yeah I would be a MAN for all my fans irrespective if ME climbing the tree --- @Ckyera ------ it would have been fun if i were brought up in a village...but i like those greenery and i enjoy being there in the summers when i visit my home town I did guess that you would have resorticted yourself to pick them all than to climb the tree again as you had a bad fall ....its not that i'm blowing my own tantrums but i really mean it and i wouldn't disappoint my love at any cost...i can bring in all the stars of the sky for her :)

Hiya shibs, Have climbed many Trees but only on the second or third branches that is when I was small all the rest of the time was spent sitting at the bottom of the Tree taking the shade from it and giving it thanks for its shade and relief from Summer Heat. When I was small I had to climb Trees to get my stupid Brothers out of there who always insisted in trying to steal Apples from an Orchard down the Road. I used to scrape my knees almost raw as they would not get down without a fight from me. I used to have to climb up the tree and drag them down they were really silly Brothers and nothing but one big bother lol. Needless to say I got hit because of them and what they did and I had to be like Guardian Angel and try to keep them out of trouble which they were always in. Biggest relief was when I went to Senior School and I could stay School Dinners then I did not have to seem them all Day long woohoo was I so relieved to see the back of them and their malice. Only peace I ever knew was when I was at that School and I could be with my Friends and be a Girl of my age well more or less.xxx Yours is a funny Story really but not when he chased you with a Cudgel that is not very funny at all he must have scared the life out of you.xxx

Hi angel... when i climbed on tree not to protect myself from summer but to prove how much naughty i was when a child. We rested under trees in summer. But Heera was not able to do that with me. When i was eating guavas and she was crying under tree asking some guavas. I just showed her how tasty those guavas were without giving her a single one still my naughty mind got satisfied. same issue with palm trees too. A naughty boy dared to face anything.

Hi angel... I dont know or you have not mentioned why they did not love you? And why you needed to climb to get them where as you knew that they dont love you anymore, It was not important to have scratches and blood on your body from my perspective. yes, Heera is my lovely sister and i love her very much. well, i offered her Guavas when mom scolded me hearing her cries. So, i apologized and offered more guavas than i ate. lol have a nice time.

Hiya shibs, Naughty Boy for not letting your Sister have one of those Guavas lol at least one in any case. Well you are right as mine would not have given me any either but I climbed trees better than they did. All I got to show for it were two very grazed and sratched knees. Scratches were deep sometimes and bled too as I had to hang on to those two and pull them back down again and they did not want to get down. If they had of been caught they could have ended up in the Police Station and I already knew that so when I got older I was so happy to be away from them. Heera is so lucky to have a Brother like you with a Brother like you I would not have wanted to keep away from them so much. Okay you might have been naughty but you love your Sister but those two never loved me and I can vouch for that. There was a time when I felt something about them but not now. But I am not as hard hearted as they are you see in spite of what they might think or invent. You are a very good Brother shibs and Heera knows that how lucky you both are to have each other. What do those guavas taste like anyway exactly? Bet your Mom got mad at you for doing those kind of things lol.xxx

Hi Shibham, I climbed trees a lot when I was a kid. I don't think anyone actually taught me. Maybe I saw other kids do it....don't know. Anyway, I climbed a lot of trees and I made a lot of tree forts out of old boards. I even a couple of times slept in my tree fort.

Yep, I really did. All night too! I do love trees but I really loved pretending I was all grown and on my own. I had forts on the ground also and at one point I had a very cool one underground.

hi shibham! yeah, when i as a kid i also climb in a tree and i also experienced falling down from a tree! ouch! haha its because when i step in one branch, it breaks! and i fall straight in a straight in a canal/stream near it. hehe and i got some wounds and dirty clothes! and my mom really feels bad about it, instead of pitying me, she scolded me instead! when i was a kid my play mates are mostly my male cousins and so i feel like i can do what they can do! but after that falling incident, i do limit myself from climbing trees. now i know i can still do it but i just don't have a chance. and like you, i can't climb a coconut tree unless its miniature? lol! as i read your experience, you reminded me of our neighbors here, i am really annoyed when they climb in the mango tree near our house because the create some noises and sometimes they also step in our roof that its so disturbing and besides our roof is already in bad condition and those kids just worsen it...huh!

hi sunny! yeah, i have been hurt badly playing with my male cousins. and aside from that i am also usually the one who were left behind, like when they go and get some spiders to play, sometimes they just leave me in the place where they get spider....hehe and they usually made me cry. and i also get a lot of wounds back then from playing with them. actually if you have a mark in your chin from that incident...i do have a scar on my right knee, which is really visible till now coz it has 3 stitches...its because while playing with them in the rice field where there's a canal nearby, they push each other and i am the one who have been pushed badly and i fall in the canal! haha and there's a broken glass in there. so i get my wound there! bitter sweet memory of childhood! yeah, mom scolds me because she said im stubborn, how many times did she tell me not to join much with my cousins when they climb in a tree but i didn't listen. lol!

Ckyera competing your cousins in climbing trees haha ---- you must have hurted badly.I spent most of my child hood in Cities so i never had any experiences in climbing trees----Coconut tree let it lie there i cant even imagine me climbing that tall one There were times when i fell from heights though-----there was one merry-go-round in my school ground and i slipped off from the top and my chin was hurt badly---i still have those marks on my chin lol....sweet memories huuuh Ohh yeahhh....Moms scold us when they see us bleeding huuh as they cant see us in pain

@cK, i am surprised you get to climb a tree,my friend! you are like one of the boys when you are a child.but i guess that's what make you tough now, cause you have been around boys since you're a child.you must really hurt so badly that time i can just imagine how you look like, plus the smell of the canal, eww, yucky.but if i'm with you back then,i guess i would also climb the tree since you can do it,why can't i,right? and kids really are tougher at times compared to adults. your mom scolded you? well, despite what happened to you i felt bad if i'm also in your position.sometimes mothers really are strict though you really know, you want to be independent for some reason and wants to try learning things.of course,it needs hardships and wounds before we get to learn from something.it's like learning how to ride a bicycle or falling in love, you'll get wounded but learned many things when you get used to it.that's life! we must do hardwork before we attain something! you can climb your roof if given a chance,my friend. oh,i love to watch the stars while lying on the roofs, hehehe actually i have lay on the streets to watch the stars and we get caught by the guards we ran as fast as we could. of course, you can't climb a tree from a miniature, that's stupid! well, you can put a sign on those mango tree beside your house for the children to know your roof is fragile. @sunny,oh,you're a city boy hehehe. well,i guess you will never forget that chin memory my friend! every wound has it's reasons... moms scold us cause they don't want us to be in danger. seeing their child climbing a tree and falling from it feels bad for them. mothers don't want their children to be hurt. but they just don't let us see what they really feel,so they scold us in return.

I had climb trees when I was a kid. those were guava trees not more than 5 feet its height.I love to eat guavas but only those that are freshly picked and I love it more when I'm the one picking them.Other than guavas, I had not tried climbing other trees. Though, I was contemplating of climbing a coconut tree then! But it's a guy thing to climb towering trees. Not for me.:-)

We used to have Chestnut trees behind my house when I was a child and the forst thing I wanted to do that I can remember was climb them. I started out with a branch or two when I was very little and soon graduated to the very top. My granfather had to climb up and get me because when I reached the swaying top...I was scared and couldn't get back down...lol...

I have some neurolical disorder. My initial diagnosis was cerebellur degeneration. I have had other opinions that don't agree. It is digenerative whatever it is. There is something wrong with my cerebellum (part of the brain) and that controls balance among a ton of other things.

i can't climb a tree,i think.but i guess i have tried it once, since i was young,we lived in a house full of trees within.and one tree which is guava tree i happen to climb but i'm afraid i might fall though i was just reaching somewhere up there. i have this sister younger than me who really used to climb trees, she even get the chance to get to the roof beside that tree.how i wish i could try it,i even had crazy thoughts that i would stow away but i don't know where to go,maybe i'll just live at the roofs for a while.what a crazy idea, right? i just liked attention that's why i thought of it.hehehe we also have a coconut tree right in front of our house. i can't imagine myself climbing that tree,i just admired people who makes it easier to climb u there.my father used to get mad everyday finding those coconuts gone or lessens each day.even he had bundled it with sack,it will always be taken by such stupid people.as if they own the tree. oh,i remember, i used to climb the wall from our school back then when i belong to a group who cuts class.or gets late fro sometime the gate would be closed, have no choice but to climb the wall to get in.lol! there's also a divider between the two bedrooms of our house we used to live in. for sometime the door would be locked then the key is nowhere to be found,so better climb the divider,it was kinda high for me that time but i managed to get u cause i'm the thinnest in the family,i was the only one who will get pass the divider space between it,

hi annavi. only once type experience may be enough for whole life. i think as guava is a small tree, so everyone wish to climb it but as that sudden thought of falling comes to mind, most of them hesitate to climb again. really crazy idea,, thanks that there was no fulfillment of that idea. we have more than 20 coconut trees in my home but i don't dare to climb it as it has no branches. my father always searches for an expert to pick up those coconuts. that type people are also where who walk at the dawn to pick up those coconuts from ground. ohhh... several times i have climbed walls as i was too naughty then and stole flowers from other families. oh... you are thinest. me too amongst my family. so that is one type of exercise of circus. a circle of fire and a thin girl jumps through it. hahaha.. have a nice day.

yes, because of the thinking that they might fall, they just hesitate to climb.i've climbed but,not to the tallest branch where i could go directly to our roof.as ive said i was just reaching something from up there. yeah,i think you are naughty for that.but have you stole fruits from other trees? i was thinnest but now i have gained lot of weight, same as my sisters that's why i am still thinnest, hehe what made you think of a circus,my friend? i haven't been to a circus.but yeah,i can climb walls.i love to try rock climbing or wall climbing (the real one)not just the walls from our house,

Climbing trees to steal mangoes is a great way to learn! Of course I can climb a tree. Surely most people can can't they? Unless they are overweight I guess? I cannot remember the first time that I climbed a tree. I have been doing it for as long as I can remember. I still love to climb trees with my children, my daughter is a bit of a monkey just like me. I do remember at a friend of mines house on a farm when I was a child, that there were trees surrounding their house. We used to climb up one and then do a complete lap of the house jumping from tree to tree until we got back to where we started from. That was always challenging, but we never worried about the dangers back then.

Oh how sad I don't know how to climb a tree, even if it is a little bit bigger than a shrub. There's an instance that I have to follow my friends crossing the small lake by a log, and I couldn't do it. SO what they did is blind by folding a piece of cloth onto my eyes. Their hand hold mine, so I wouldn't feel nervous. Successfully I did cross it but not climbing a tree.

Yes I can.If I have to think of it I would say that I always could.I haven't ever thought that some people have to learn it.Ok maybe in time I perfected myself to climb faster(that I really like, when I can climb faster, but you can't do that on every tree) but I could climbed in trees from Day 1.I think most people can do it and the only thing that stops them from doing it is only their fear. There are some exception though.
