A pregnant woman complained to me that no body had offered seat for her on the bus. Several strong young men seating nearby just ignored her. Perhaps it`s not these guys` fault. Offering seat to a pregnant woman may cause embarrassment. One time on a bus, a man got up from his seat. I guessed he was going to get off so I took his seat for granted. But the man said that he had offered the seat to a pregnant woman nearby. Then, this lady`s face turned red and said "I am not pregnant". How embarrassing it was to mistake a fat woman as pregnant. So in some places, pregnant woman will be given a sign to tie on their cloth to show their state of being pregnant to avoid this kind of embarrassment.
