Hey guys! Is it getting hot in here? I mean seriously! I live here in the Philippines and well, it's right about under the equator so it's always under the sun and I have to say it's soooo HOT!! SERIOUSLY HOT! I mean, if you stay here without aircon or a fan, you'd be sweating loads! Philippines wasn't always like it, well, okay, it was kinda hot but it was tolerable! Now it's just damn hot.. Is it getting any hotter anywhere in the world as well?
By the way, if you're looking to lose some weight.. Philippines is the place for you! In here you sweat so much you lose weight easier. (Just kidding :D)

hottest weather was recorded in tugegarao about 100 years ago..if i am not mistaken 1912 it was on 42 degrees centigrade, so i think technically our temperature is pretty much the same, you have to consider also that we are experiencing a phenomenon called el nino, which brings the rain occurrence seldom.

i like the cool breeze the rain brings, but i don't like the rain..hehe, its depresses my mode and make me wanna sleep all day long..
i prefer a sunny season with mild breeze, something like the temperature of bagiou city, that's perfect for me..not too cold not too hot..

Here in UK... we are having some really lovely weather, but it is only just starting to get hotter now. I really do love the heat, and I tend to make the most of it, because here we do not get that much great weather. The thing I find the hardest is the hot nights, because it makes it uncomfortable to sleep. We could swap countries if you like, I could do with some hot weather right now!

Oh? I would love to go to the UK! Haha, which Kingdom are you part of? England? Whales? Sure, the weather here in the Philippines is nice and sunny but it's really hot, I promise and as the girl under you said, we have the phenomenon called "El Nino" or in English I believe it's called "Drought"? It barely rains here because of it and when it does it rains pretty hard as what I've experienced.
One question, how do you make the most of the heat??

I am from England... and we tend to make the most of the heat, by doing things like going out to the beach, walks through beautiful forests, picnics, sitting out in the garden and having BBQ's. It may not sound much but in England we have a lot of weather that means that we cannot go outside much whether it be too cold or too wet, so that is why as soon as the heat hits us... I am straight out there! Back at the beginning of the year, for example of our weather, here where I am... we had 7-8" of thick snow... I was actually snowed in my house. After it snowed we got very cold weather which made the snow turn to ice and then made it dangerous to walk on paths outside. I could not move my car for over a week as it was literally snowed in. Admittedly this was extreme snow, we do not normally get as much as we did then, and according to news reporters the last time we did get snow like that was 20 years previous!

Oh! I would love to do these things with my group of friends or "Barkada" as we call it here. Hahaha. Usually when my group of friends and I just go out to chill, we go to malls, play soccer (really hot), go to someone's house (Because it's better to do nothing in someone else's house rather than your's ahaha), and alot of stuff! :D But it kinda gets boring at times. I wish it snows here in the Philippines but it doesn't.. It did hail once, in Baguio city. Wasn't nice at all. Hahhaa.

You are right. Even the electric fan does not help anymore. Last night was okay because it was raining but today it was back to being hot. I am now pregnant so I feel the heat even more. I am fortunate that we have airconditioner but our electricity bill have really shoot up these past months.
oh boy

Really? Everytime I use the laptop I use a fan and it seems to work fine for me but I think also because I don't receive direct sunlight and I'm usually here in the night and during the day I'm sleeping. xD
Oh, I congratulate you for your baby!! Hope it's male.. Why? Because if it was, your last name can continue to move on and on. Studies also show that male receive more salary than women who do the same job. :D and less chance of him being raped. xD

Yes it still hot but not as hot compared during summer. Its really hot then that it became the worst summer I ever have. But now its starting to rain so its kinda cooler now. But if it didn't rain for the whole day then its really hot. Hope its cold season again. I really hate it when its too hot.

I've observed that here in the Philippines alot of old people are very healthy! Some of them even work still and go shopping, doing their nails or hair!!

Nine months?! Dude, that's like almost a whole year!! How can you live in a place like that?! WHAT?! O.O I don't think I can last there!!
Yes, we have been talking about Global Warming and Climate Change for years and we barely did anything about it and now that the effects are worsening we're taking action? A little too late perhaps.. Classic case of ProcrastiNation.. Haha

It's not that hot anymore, compared to a month ago. Weather's are changing. I can tell cause I always get the flu when the weather changes and I have flu now. (it's a bit early, usually I get the flu around mid july to late august).
Last month was really really really hot. Just walking 10 steps will me sweat profusely. I used to always wipe the sweat off my face, but now, I don't bother. Wiping it off will make me sweat again. Plus the fact that our darn electric fan doesn't blow air much. It's on number 3 but blows like number 1! I had to sleep in the sala with the windows wide open an electric fan that's blowing on me so i could sleep. During the previous summers, we used to sleep with the aircon turned on in my room; but since friggin' meralco raised the rate for electricity, no more aircon for our room. Only my parents get to turn on their aircon, and when the timer stops, it gets hot in minutes so I don't stay there.
Rainy season is slowly approaching, I sooo long for a cooler weather.
