Hi, I have recently been involved in music composition. I do not have much music theory background; however, using guitar pro I was able to compose some cool tunes. ANyway, I want to develop my composition skill. What do you suggest for me? Any good books. or programs?

Me and my band also arranged some songs using guitar pro. Cool software isn't it? It even has realistic sounds for some effects on guitars and other instruments. We arrange our songs then print out the tabs and notes and play it out.

Just compose some tunes to your desired situations or events and ask opinions to your best friends. If you are not well aware of the theory, don't hesitate to join some class to study it. That will really help you, I bet. Again, practice and practice...only that will tune your self and shapes you a great composer. My advance wishes for you!
