I have just purchased a new photo scanner called a Pandigital Photolink. I just used it for the first time yesterday and I am amazed how quick and easy it is to use when compared with my flatbed scanner.
It will only take photos up to 7 inches, but it takes just a few seconds to go through the little machine, that can be held in the hand, is scans the photo directly on to an SD card. I don't even have to use my computer?
Do you love gadgets? Please share what you have and what you think of it...
Thanks _Derek

well, the last thing i have bought not only for myself but for the whole family's use is this netbook. though this has very tiny monitor and keyboard, it helps a lot in our surfing. this is the one i use when i am at home doing mylot but i also have a desktop computer in the office.

actually, this one had just pawned to be by a friend at first. she bought it a week after she arrived back from a vacation abroad. two months after, she run out of cash so she decided to pawn it. and because this is very new and to think that she had never used this all the time, i decided to help her. time passed and she said she will just sell it to me for only 10k pesos, almost 6k less than the original price.

I have to say I am not very technologically minded and I don't like new fangled gadgets, mainly because I can never figure out how to use them properly and the instructions aren't always clear, so I only buy new when my old gadget has really given up the ghost. I don't have a printer as they are too temperamental and I never find one that works for me, I don't have a scanner, digital camera, in fact I am amazed I have a computer at times LOL! Mind you I am person who hates change, I even get annoyed when I have to update programs like browsers etc! Enjoy having fun with your photo scanner my friend, if I had one it would still be in its box for kingdom come PMSL...

Hi Wolfie, Thanks for responding. I can fully understand your resistance to change as I have the same sort of resistance outside of the technological world. I also agree with you about updating programs on the computer and quite often I can't see the point of it. If it aint broke, why fix it? That's my philosophy and I notice how much slower Firefox has become after several updates - to me it was OK before.
With regards to instructions, I usually find that they are badly translated from another language to I rarely refer to them and learn to use my gadgets by trial and error! Really! It seems to work though.. _Derek
