If you could have personally witnessed one event in history, what would want to have seen and why?

That's a rough one? Is it just for that moment or is a period of time? Like I would like to have been at differant points given on the allowed of time I could stay. They would all be based on times in the bible, but rather then wander around not beliving in god at all it would be nice to go and see for example jesus on the cross and chill by the grave for three days to see what really happened. but if its just one quick look at history in one quick shot it would have to be the burning bush.

Thats a very interesting point. I am not a very religious person though I don't dismiss it either. So maybe to witness some of these would be a great insight into what has shaped peoples lives and views for many years.

I would have liked to have seen the joining of the Transcontinental Railroad. it is a moment that will live on in history. East meeting West over the tracks was a dream realized. Westward expansion was given achance to be a reality.

I wish I could have been present when Socrates was conversing in the Agora.
