building a downline for ptc sites

hi all, how many of you use free referral services to build your downline for the ptc,ptr sites? i am a member of 3 of them and with out much success. i belong to simplerefs, ezreferral and moneybumpers. i am not sure what i am doing wrong and would love to be able to build my down line for my ptc programs so that i can earn extra money thru referrals as well as doing them on my own. any ideas so that i can build up my referrals. i have also tried linkbucks as well. thanks all have a great day
