I came across a web traffic site called Alexa which screens the traffic flow into a website... I checked on the top 5 nationalities in Mylot these are: (USA, Bangladesh, India, Philippines, Malaysia).. in this order... I noticed that there are more Mylot members from Bangladesh than there are in India.. actually exceeding by a margin of 70%... by demographics, the size of Bangladesh in terms of population is only 1/8 that of India... Why are there more Bangladeshi in Mylot than there are from India? any Opinion?

India might be larger but does all the population have access to internet?

That only lists the number of members from each country (where specified). You would expect the number of Bangladeshi members to broadly correspond with the difference in population.
Alexa's results relate to the number of people who have the Alexa toolbar installed (either wittingly or unwittingly). Since the Alexa toolbar is reported by many AV and other programs as spyware, I would expect that people who are more aware of such things to be less likely to be using Alexa. This MAY explain the statistics!

The number of total members does not equal the number of active members. I would like to talk about it from a different ngle unless someone beats me to it.
Let us assume that Alexa's estimate is fairly accurate picture of the situation. Then we cab deduce that the ratio of active members in Bangladesh is higher than that of India. It is likely that the Bangladeshis are serious in earning money. Just look at the exchange rate, the standard of living, and their attitude towards life.
There are many reasons for members being inactive. The partial list below applies to every country, not specific to India.
1) Busy with other tasks.
2) Family issues.
3) Unable to be online due to financial constraint.
4) Expecting too much from myLot, and becomes disappointed and disillusioned.
5) Fake accounts created to boost popularity.
