Do you respnd to all your friends' discussion on My Lot?

I was just wondering if I have added someone to my firends list whether it is the right etiquette to return comments and responses to their discussions? Even if I am not really interested in some of their topics? Of course, I try to respond and comment to as many as I can, but some times I just can't think of anything to say on certain topics...

Sometimes I cannot think of anything to add to the discussion either, so I do not respond. How can one respond when one has nothing to say? I do try to make the effort to answer at least a few posts that each of my friends have, but for the summer I have been very busy and have neglected Mylot.

Yes, I guess you can only say so much on something you have no interest for...I just try to glance through the ones that haven't been talked about for a long time. :)

That is a good idea, looking through some old ones. There are so many discussions here on Mylot, if one does not peak your interest there are many more that will. Hopefully we have more good discussions than unable to respond ones.

I've mainly been going through the older ones of other people's discussions, and it's amazing how many are actualy really interesting and they're buried at the bottom of the pile! :)

No, not all of them, just the ones I am interested in and that I feel like I have something to add to. If you just write some post that doesn't make any sense or only say stuff that has already been said, it is kind of like spamming, so I don't want to do that. But I do check what discussions my friends have started on a regular basis!

I do this too, I usually find that if I find something that I am genuinely interested in, I would actually have a lot to say about it anyway without worrying about whether I was writing enough... :)

That is not possible to respond to all of my friends' discussions. As you know, there are many subjects and I am unable to know what to say to all of them. Sometimes I may not be interested in the topics. I can't say anything to it. But whenever I am in Mylot, I would like to check the discussions started by my friends at first. I love China

I feel much the same way. I'd like to comment and respond to as many discussions from my friends as I can, but unfortunately I don;t have the time or can't think of a anything worthwhile to actually say. It's disappointing and I feel like I've let them down.

Don't worry, please don't feel bad about it, I would jump up and down with madness if my friends didn't have the time to respond to my questions... I wouldn't feel let down either, so please don't feel that way... :)

It is impossible for me : I give a response to 5/10 discussions each day, and there are days with 100 discussions started by my friends. I am choosing among the discussions those interesting for me : like you I have nothing to say in many discussions.

I'va ctually had to be very selective too, you really can't respond to everyone who starts a discussion, a few of my friends can start up to 10-20 discussions a day and I just can't keep up...

Perhaps you are not my friend.But for your information I like to say that I too do not respond to all discussion posted by my friends. I respond only to those which are within my knowledge.I could not answer to those discussions which I have no knowledge.may be your friends are like me.

I can not answer all my friends started talking. Some are discussions that can not answer because I do not know the subject. Other discussion are questions and my response would be identical to one that was posted.
