Fast Life or the Slow Life?

Which kind of life do you prefer? Do you prefer living the slower life, relaxing perhaps in the country taking things at a slower pace or do you prefer the hustle and bustle of city life?
I live in the countryside and couldnt imagine living in the city. I guess most of the time it is what you are used to that you prefer though some people move from one to another for a different kind of life. Me personally, could never move to a big city. I like the quiet of the countryside and everything is a lot faster in the city - too fast and loud for me not to mention all the cars!

I live in a crowded capital city. However, the hustle and bustle of city environment do not affect the peace and harmony of our family life. We lead a healthy and balanced life with mutual co-operation and sharing. our lives move in a balanced pace, not very slow or very fast. We find life most relaxing and peaceful in spite of our busy schedule of work. The peace of life,as I Believe, lies in the mind of a person. The fastness of life can not disturb a disciplined and balanced mind. Thanks.

That is very well put! It is great to see that although your lives are busy you and your family are able to have quality time with one another in a peaceful and relaxed manner.

I think it depends on one's personality. If someone loves the more relaxing life in the country side and loves to feel the fresh country breeze, than it is his life to be in the country side. But if the loud noise of the cars beeping and factories working makes good music to your ears, if traffic is almost a part of your life, then you belong to the fast phase life. I personally grew up in the big city where every second counts, every hour is important whether if its working, or having good time at bars, or hanging out with good friends. life in the fast phase city is where my heart belongs, unfortunately a few years before we moved from the fast life to slow life. now we live in a small province not so far in the city, although its not that far it feels so much different from where i originally came from. The slow life is not that bad either. feel the cold breeze of air, hear the birds singing, have fresh veggies and listen to the lovely sound of quietness. The answer to this belongs to the person who feels what he/she really wants for himself/herself. ACCEPTANCE is the key, and ADJUST is the keyword. So where ever you are. Its yo who will always find answers for yourself.

actually I'm really like living in rural areas. Life comfortable, safe, quiet and peaceful because all the necessities of life has almost certainly come from field and farm own, but I'm don't deny the fact, I was born in the big city and I have no knowledge of field farming. I did not choose to live in big city, but I know and have been enjoying the big city lifestyle

There is a time for everything. When I was younger there were so many things that I did - some kind of multitasking and did them well and enjoyed too. Now I have settled down in a semi rural town where my life is centred round my house, garden and pets. I am more in the virtual world than in the real one. I hardly socialise or go for parties which used to be my main stay those good old days. I was the main organiser of all those bashes. Not any more. I like photography and I have enough subjects around me that I capture and convert them into video clips.

I would love to live a slow life in the countryside, it has been my dream for a few years now, but for now I live in a big city and live a very fast life. But I am hoping that will change sometime in the future, since I really think the slow life is more natural for humans... I know it would make me happier anyway!

I would like the slow but sure pace. I will not get to the fast pace without assurance on it that it all will be turned out positively.

I spent over 50 years living in the town, for the last six years I have lived the tranquil country life and there is no way that I could return to town living!!
I love the air, the countryside, the wildlife, the slow pace, the friendly people, the lack of crime - i love it all
