Scared to sleep problem.. Insomnia? Phobia?

Is it just Insomnia or something else? Whenever I sleep I feel like I'm wasting time.. What do you think about while trying to sleep? Sometimes I'm so conscious of my being awake while trying to sleep. I would feel the border between sleep and awake and its pretty scary. Where do we go while we are sleeping??? How do we sleep?? I cant just lie down close my eyes and then presto! im asleep.. If only we don't need to sleep I would never sleep again. sigh. But we NEED to. Goodnight

You better make sure to get something to do that makes you real tired. We need to sleep. Don't think about it when going to bed, that might work. TATA.

I don't really think about it, it just comes suddenly. Like "what am I doing? Am I sleep now?" its weird. I would be stuck in between sleep and awake, or consciousness and unconsciousness.

Hey! SLEEP~one nice thing to detach you from this weird world.. m a teen and i get so less time to sleep.. but to be true.. after working all day long, then comming back and lie down , close my eyes, relax is one of the biggest thing i enjoy doing..! and u know sometimes when u have much on ur mind or something is bothering u from falling asleep. start counting backwards from 200-0/.. and if it still doen't helps then do it for once more.. it works and u will be asleep before u know..

Good for you to enjoy sleep.. I enjoy sleep to, not just the moment between sleep and awake. Thanks for the advice but I don't think counting backwards can work for me. Yeah I guess I have much in my mind even while not thinking, subconcious mind stuff.

i know what you mean because at night i dont sleep well most of the time and i wonder why others can sleep so easily.

Well i fear to sleep is phobia, and it has some impact on mind action towards sleep. Consulation and treatment can have cure on it.

If you don't sleep,could be very dangerous! It's not a waste of time, because it's very important recharge our energy!

After a long day of work, study... we have to rest and relax our body and mind. Sleep is the best medicine to renew your energy. Of course there are people who have the facility to lie down in bed, close my eyes and sleep. Others have more difficulty, insomnia and even more if you're have any problems. But the night was made for us to forget the problems of everyday life and be ready to relax for the next day.

that happen to me several times especially if i have deadlines report and i am pressure i can't sleep it gives me headaches because of lack of sleep.another is when i am under stress and anxious i hate myself because i cant sleep because i am thinking all my problems all over and over again.lack of sleep will lead to malfunction of our body and mind that's why i minimize drinking coffee at night and water because i woke at night to pee and i cant go back again to sleep.a glass of milk will help to induce sleeping and that's help to fall asleep.

That's very alarming! We need to sleep to give way to cell regeneration and to give our body system some rest. Even the toughest engine or machine will break down due to over-heating if we don't give them some rest. Same with our body.

well thats weird. sometimes when Im enjoying surfing the net and learning lot of things like html and other stuff, I hate it when I feel sleepy, I even hate it when time passes by so fast and feel like I still lack knowledge or wasnt able to do that much. But, when Im working on my regular job, I also work online as admin support I feel like I am so deprived of sleep. Haiz... I don't know probably psychologoical..

On the contrary, I love sleeping so much. On my day off, I usually stay in my bed longer than the time I spend in malls, with my friends or family. I think you should stressing yourself from all of those anxieties. Hmmm...probably stop asking yourself with those questions. Think of something good, expect of sweet dreams...

Well,we have to sleep to survive.just like eating ,drinking and working.It's a good way to save and stoe our energy...Because we'll feel better after sleep.It's possible that you don't sleep for one or two days,but brain needs rest... So, just sleep...
