Affiliate marketing is when you promote other people's products (or a product of an online company) for a commission. The computation for commissions is based on stated affiliate compensation plan. The usual compensation plan is one-tier where you earn from your efforts of selling or promoting a product online. It's like direct selling offline, like Avon, but is translated online. If you want significant success in affiliate marketing, don't focus too much in one-tier programs, but instead, look for two-tiers, three-tiers, or multi-tier affiliate programs (similar to multi-level marketing or network marketing) where you are compensated not only from the purchases of your referrals, but also from the purchases made by the referrals of your referrals and their referrals and so on, hence multi-tier or multi-level. In my years of affiliate marketing (since 2005), I did not experience good results with one-tier affiliate programs, but with two-tiers and multi-tiers, they are the ones that's changing my life now for the better!

i think affliates are worse unless ther is an opprtunity to earn!
So usally ppl come to earn! not referr each other for nothing!
well the product affliate ( a small commision of a product purchased) is successful! (unless the good is of quality!)
