Tonight the husband asked me when we hit 15 years what do it mean, him knowing what i am like i said a miracle, lol. So he decided to look on the internet to see what the anniversary tradition is and said it was crystal. He said his tradition would mean a romantic night or weekend away,i said that sounds great, but who with, lol. He said that i was not funny,so i told him we have children, he said leave that to him as it is all sorted.I have a feeling that he has planned something before asking me.

Hi Jugs, WE just celebrated our 15th year wedding anniversary last June 10. I learned of this "crystal" thing as i too researched about it to surprise my hubby on our wedding day. However, i failed to buy anything crystal for him. we just simply celebrated it at home. i cooked for him. he gave me money and asked me to buy anything that i want to have for our anniversary. i saved it first and just this afternoon i bought two new blouses. I am excited about that surprise...hope you can update us with it! Congrats!

Now you can't complain . Many husbands totally forget their wedding anniversary. And you said he is being romantic these days so.... just let him plan. It sounds like he is excited about Whatever it is.

He is soo excited, but it is not our 15th Wedding Anniversary until next year in September.I think the reason he has planned it is that all we have had is bad news, so i think this way we both have something to look fordward to.

He has told me i think so that i have something to look fordward to as i have had bad news this week and was gutted that things will not improve with my feet and not improve with me walking and i was getting to the stage of knowing that things are worse for me now than a year ago.

He got a shock the other day when i said for him to go and get himself a car as in a newer car as i know that i can not drive one at the moment.I got a friend to wheel me to the bank so i could get a load of money out and then i handed that to him aswell as some other money that i had tucked away and said choose a car and tell me how much more money you want and here is my bank card.He then confessed that he had done something for us and half showed me a receipt,he also said look at the date and tell me what it is, he said that as soon as i had my bad news he had gone and sorted our 15th Wedding Anniversary so that i had something to look fordward to.

The worse thing is I have now got to wait over a year to know what he has planned aswell as paid for.I think that it is sweet and he has said that i will really like what he has done. When we had reached our 10th Anniversary we had a few problems, so we never done anything at all, but i think that this will make up for all of the other years. As he is getting older he is getting more romantic.

A whole year? Wow, that is a long time to wait to see what surprise he has for you! My o my you poor dear. That would drive me absolutely bonkers! Well, maybe more bonkers than I am already.......... Can he keep the secret that long I wonder? It is wonderful that he is getting more romantic as you grow older together. He sounds like quite a guy, a real keeper.

When i was first asked to get married to my husband i said no as I had just got divorced and I did not want to ever get married again. In the end i gave in, after he asked aswell as propossed infront of the whole of his friends and family. If he had not have asked anymore than i would be like you not married years down the line.If you want to be his wife then just tell him straight,it easier to tell him what you want as men are no good at hints that us women drop.

Happy anniversary! I assume it is soon. How nice that he would make plans for you. A lot of husbands don't even remember their anniversary. I hope you enjoy whatever it is he has planned! One year my ex took me to a driving range to hit golf balls and then to a fast food place to eat. It is no wonder he is an ex.

My 14th Anniversary is this September, so i have to wait over a year for the surprise that he has paid for.I think that it is soo sweet that he has planned for it a year ahead. He said this way i have something to look fordward to and if anything happens so that we are unable to go he has insurance on it,so i have nothing to worry about at all as it is totally sorted.

I think that it must be an age thing as he has only got romantic in the last year or so.I had a bit of bad news this week, which my husband knew had really upset me, so he went to the shop and got me a few things that he knew i would like, aswell as telling me no matter what he loves me.

Hi Hatley, hope you are well.I have to wait over a year to find out what he has in store, but he said it will be worth the wait and that i now have something that i can look fordward to, rather than not having something to look forward to.He said as soon as he heard and read about the news he decided that he will make sure that i looked forward not sitting thinking there is nothing to look forward to.I was shocked when he half showed me a receipt.

Sounds like you're in for some romantic experience! And knowing guys, I'm sure it will take some effort and clever planning to pull something off. Specially with children, as that would be included in the planning. On how to manage to get them squared away so that you can have time alone with each other. Happy crystal!
