You should watch it.. They may be full of conversation that may mak it boring, but the movie is so great, when you focus more you will aprreciate it. watch it till the end and you'll love it.

I did start watching it half an hour ago, but still too busy typing and posting on this site (!) - will probably have to find some good spare time to watch it and then really appreciate it or what it is, quite a few have said that it's good, so will give it some quality time to fully take it in. Thanks !

I found the movie very good. I liked it a lot more than the prestige. The movie is worth it for watching the magic tricks alone, but the plot develops later in the movie in a surprising twist of events that make it a good watch. Can't say more or I would spoil it.

I thought it was kind of dull... but it's really a matter of opinion. It's a sweet film, and there were parts of it that I sort of enjoyed. I think it's kind of like Romeo and Juliet... except with a happy ending.

I'm with you. It never popped for me. There wasn't anything to really make me want to keep watching it, except that I was at the theater and had already paid my money. It wasn't horrible, but I can think of so many movies that are so much better!

Watched the first 20 minutes of it yesterday, I'm still not sure what to make f it, Edward seems a bit psychological unbalanced so far as well as being a deep thinker of a genius..., didn't quite understand the beginning where he was just sitting on stage and then a woma shouts 'it's her, it's her, she's come back' or something, and then the constable gets up on stage and arrests him, is it something to do with him making them disappear and can't get her back....?

lol, will take that on board :) One thing I know, I think it is definitely worth watching for the mystery factor and all the magic tricks that they do, it just seems mad that with some of the tricks, it just seems inpossible no matter how good you are with the quick hand gestures and movements, unless he is hypnotising people....?

I saw this at the theater. I went because I love Edward Norton, but I have to say that I was disappointed in the movie. I thought it was not that interesting when you take it as a whole. The magic is good, and I liked the historical setting, but it never really got compelling for me. It was just ok. I wouldn't bother to watch it again on DVD. But that's just me.
