Happy Saturday Cutepink !!! Tell your choir director of your desire to sing, there should be a place in the choir for anyone who desires to sing. The choir director should be qualified enough to give you all the help you need. You will have to get over the negativity you feel about your voice. I will tell you that in my own personal experience, I missed out on many years of being an entertainer for the simple fact that I was self conscious of my voice. It wasn't terrible but I thought it was. I finally did become a good singer/guitar player but I was well into my 30's when I did. I was told later that other people hear our voice a bit differently than we ourselves do. You have nothing to lose, and life is very short, do not find yourself saying later "I wish had sang at church." God bless you !!
