how do you spend your weekend?

hello my fellow mylotters!
how do you spend your weekend? do you spend it on the beach, lounging and basking in the warmth rays of the sun? or do u spend it camping in the mountain together with family or loves ones, inhaling the fresh air? or in the mall, shopping?
or do u spend it like i usually spend mine? indoors most of the time, reading books, surfing the net, blogging, mylotting, watching movies, crocheting, writing? and then, during late afternoons, i love walking along the beach, taking in the beautiful sunset. ( i live by the beachfront). i love to stay indoors during the weekend because its rest time for me. During the weekdays, i am constantly in the move, going to work, running errands, attending meetings/conferences, attending to other people's problems, it gets the better of me sometimes. It drains my energy, that weekend is a most welcome refuge.. i can do things i've wanted to do during weekdays..its relaxation time.
you are most welcome to share your ideas on this subject my fellow mylotters.

Weekend? It's usually, washingTon days. I have to wash our sheets, blanket and the like. But after that I have to play with my kids, help them with their homeworks and in the afternoon we go to the beach and strengthen our bonding.

i agree with you, lingaypaculdar. the first day of the weekend is usually for laundry! but there are times i get lazy and i don't want to attach such a pile. i go send them to the laundromat, instead. it is more convenient, although it costs a lot!

My weekends are very calm most of the time. I go do my nails, stay home. Maybe go to a store. On sunday i go to church. Thats pretty much it.

hello stephiequalsgrr! that's a pretty relaxing weekend for you. i forgot to mention church too although i am not that churchgoer as i would like to be. thanks for sharing.

Heya!
Well usually the weekend for me is the time to relax my body and mind after the full week of work. I prefer to stay at home at weekends and relax mostly.
Also sometimes to chill my mind, I go out to sports and shopping , and most of all weekends give me a good chance to spend a quality time with my family.
So thats how i spend my weekend. :)

i spend my weekend hanging out with my friends and jamming with them. i like playing drums and i love music. i also play console games when i got bored and when it is sunday, i have bonding with my family.

I usually spend it doing my laundry in the morning then have good lunch then SLEEP! Then go to choir practice in the evening. That's usually my routine every Saturdays. There are times though that I go to the beach with my family or go to party's. Or just go to the mall or a coffeeshop to unwind from all the stress school has given me during the week.

I spend my weekends relaxing.Usually I go to visit my grandparents at the country side,It's pretty cool.
Or i choose a fun activity like playing football or going out in public places,with my friends,girls or relatives. That pretty much it.Weekend means fun, lot of fun!!

I write. I post. I might go to gym on both Saturday and Sunday, ideally. I will usually go to one event outside of my house, usually this is a political event, poetry thing, or an event to cover an assignment. I try to go to church when nothing hurts or if it does it's bearable enough and won't be made worse by walking to church (there are no buses at that time).

I spend my weekend similar as you.. I just spend my time at home , in my bedroom and surf the internet or watch television and movies.. I don't go out as much as I used to during weekends.. I'm just really focusing more on my studies.. and since I just have 2 days which is during the weekend to rest after a week-long stressful days at school, so I just spend my weekend at home. A safe place for relaxation and sleep. =)

my weekends I like to go to the beach and walk on the sand for some excerise. Then I relax for a while get some sun and read a book.I don't go as often as I once did when younger but it is beauitful at the beach

I do spend my weekends in a variety of ways. It depends on what is in store for that week or if i have plans with friends. My weekend usually rotates from traveling somewhere to take photos since i am into photography til just chilling out and reading a book at a coffee cafe. I am not particular on what i do as long as it is productive.

On Saturdays I usually spend it with my girlfriend. Its the only day that we are both not busy so we make sure we are together at that day. On Sundays I'm just like you. I surf the net, post some discussions here in mylot, chat with friends, etc. I just want to stay at home on Sundays. And its more relaxing for me if I'm just staying here.

I usually stay at home during weekends because it is the only time that I get to rest and relax.. I just stay home and go online, chat with friends, play some games. Sometimes, we go to the malls to go buy some things. On rare occasions, we go to the beach or go out of town. But on a summer, vacation is a must. hehehe..

For the last 4 months, I have forgotten what is a weekend. Since I have been in the UAE and my wife in India. I miss her a lot and being online and spending time at office even on a holiday is what i do to spend my weekend. Life seems so boring.
