How rewarding being a mother can be?

I just gave birth to a most adorable child..my son. And it was "love at first sight", i can't take my eyes off his angelic face, watching him sleeps seems like the most exciting thing to do. Although raising a baby is very demanding, tiring ('cause you will be sleep deprived) and needs a lot of patience that sometimes your body just want to give up and just want to go to snooze mode..by just looking at my son it seems like I was recharged again and a smile from him adds up a hundred volts of energy to me again. I know I am just at the beginning of the journey through motherhood but now I can say that I am experiencing a little dose of joy of what motherhood can bring. This makes me realize that motherhood is the most rewarding job in the world and I wouldn't trade it for anything.
