I think anger is completely natural human behavior or emotion.I am an angry person, but I always try to release my anger in right way so it will not hurt anyone,I have control over my anger and I keep it up to me.If I want to release my anger, I would prefer not to talk anyone for 1-2 hour.sometimes I found really hard to release it to calm down and at that time I pray to God. what do you do in this kind of situation?

Very true, it must be in question and answers section but nevertheless friends are responding here.. too. Well, it seems you were just confused and posted it here in Internet section.. Don't worry! Be cool and enjoy mylotting. Releasing anger is very important. The early symptoms of anger are disappointment and irritation. One method to control anger is the STAR-R approach (stop, think, ask, reduce and reward).

I play DotA. Its one of the most popular LAN game here in our country. I can channel all of my anger to my opponents so I play better when I am angry. If there's no one to play with then I just sleep. Its also helpful. One of the best way I think to relieve anger.

I walk. When I am so angry, I just get out of the place where the source of anger is happening, and walk. I also believe that dancing or exercising is a good way to release whatever negative feelings you have in you. Anger is a bad feeling and this could affect our health. We need to release it, vent it out in whatever way we can without hurting anyone.

When the person I am angry at is with me, I just don't talk or leave him in peace for awhile. Once I am alone, I shout at the top of my lungs. Sometimes, I break things, but this is a rear case (did it once).
I also write down my anger. What made me angry and all that I want to voice out due to that anger. Then, after that, I'll take a bath and while doing this I am crying under the shower a shower. The moment out get out of the bathroom, I feel so much better. Then I'll treat myself with my comfort food which is chocolate.:-)

When I get Angry, I take a deep breath and control my temper. Sometimes I count till 10, also I try to be myself and not react any further.

i think you have a very best way of controlling your anger. if im mad, i usually confront the person so as to let him/hr know and after it is released my anger subsides and i feel and ease. im the kind of person who can easily mend my anger and forget everything that had happened.

Seldom feel anger at something or someone. But when I get very irritated if I can not yell need to break something. And if I can not release my anger that way, I will not be able to contain a cry of anger.

If I'm angry at someone, I don't like to shout or fight. I just stop talking to that person. The other person realizes it and after some time tries to make amends themselves. If it's my fault, I'll myself go and make peace with them after some time. If I feel extremely irritated about something over which I have no control, I'll pen down all my thoughts, including the swears that come up in my brain. After about 10 minutes of writing, all my anger would have vented out, and I'd be able to go about my normal chores...

Anger is a form of human emotion indeed but it is one of the most dangerous and disasterous emotion in humans according to me. Our anger doesn't affect anyone else as much as it does to ourselves. It can ruin a lot of things very easily and we later regret it.
So it is always good to keep your calm and cool. According to me, an Angry person always suffers alot and has to pay alot. Well fortunately I'm not the Angry kinda person. But still being a human there are times when you cant control your anger and that applies to me to as well. So when I get really angry with someone or something I just always try to isolate myself from the world. I kinda lock myself in my room , so that I cant hurt anyone. And then do crazy things like punching on wall, breaking the things in my room etc. And this way I release my anger. Later on surely I regret for my ailing fist ;) or loosing some precious things in my room. But sometimes its really hard to control it and the best way is to release it in a way that doesnt hurt anybody else.

I agree with you that anger is a natural reaction and is the end product of stress and anxiety. Every person has the right to be angry provided he gets angry in a right way and expresses it in a right way too. I tend to suppress my anger and express it through my artworks and photographs.

Hello Crazy_Poster! Many people releasing their anger by shouting, breaking things, saying bad words, by drinking, etc.. Me, I release my anger by being quite and just walk away because i hate trouble and i don't want to have enemy. If a person can't control his anger he may get into trouble easily and it is hard to live your everyday life if you have enemies.

When I am angry, I possess enormous energy that I would be so frustrated if I couldn't make it even with the person I am angry with. To release the tension, I do push ups until I exhaust all my energy. Sometimes I run away from the person involved so I wouldn't be able to hurt him/her. But if the issue is no big deal, I listen to music to sooth my emotions. I know myself as being so impulsive but I have already learned to control my emotions. When I was so young then, I think of killing everyone that blocks my way. Good that I have not accomplished my thoughts.
