How can you tell if that person is your friend?

I do have friends too but how can you say if he/she really a friend? What if that person betrayed you or did gossips about you behind your back but still hanging out with you and sharing the fun with you? Is that person still called a friend?

Dear Memoo
I don't think such person should be called friends. However, one should not include someone as a friend without testing that person with time. Time is the only testometer for the true friendship.

i would say no, because a real friend wont do that, and i wouldnt want to be around them at all.

if the person tells about you directly to u then u can consider him to be your friend as thats what friends do they help u know urself and what people think about u
if he/she is telling the same to others in a +ve way its ok but negative about u
u can just avoid them
