Have you seen Michael Jackson's final performance; "This Is It"?

I was doing the washing and my friend said his movie was on TV so I sat down and watch it. I tell you it was really "GREAT"! I would've gone to see it at the theatre if he were still alive. I would've traveled anywhere and paid anything just to see it.
From what I saw filmed, it would have been his best performance ever.
It was that amazing. I guess in a way, MJ really did make his last tour, and gave us all a chance to see how truly great a performer he was. He will be sadly missed.

I can't believe the movie was on TV. I saw it at the theatre last November. It was so good, the best ever. I didn't want the movie to end. I cried so much watching mainly because we have lost a brillant performer who was a perfectionist. I now hear his music and can cry because I just can't believe he is gone.

Yes, I have seen it and it was really nice! I am not fond of watching concerts, as well as watching their 'behind the scenes'. But this one is really cool, and I think it could be the best I have ever seen. He has done a really great job at it. It would have been a hit if he were alive.

I have to agree with you there crazydaisy, MJ's "This Is It" would have been one heck of a tour...I liked it that much. That's saying a lot for me because you know, I never really could quite get into Pop Music, no matter who performed it.
Mind you, I did like a couple of his tunes. Billy Jean was probably my favorite one, though I know there are a couple more, I just can't think of the names of them right now.
I will say this however.......
Micheal definitely had talent, and what I'd consider to be the closest thing to what I'd call "rubber legs", as did that of the late Gene Kelly. Who knows, maybe MJ borrowed a lot of Kelly's moves?
Except that...MJ seemed to possess, a "rubber body" as well!
I mean, that guy could move!
Also, not only was he a demanding perfectionist, he had a great creative eye.
Talent like that comes along only to a chosen few once in a while.
I doubt we'll see anyone similar, or better, for a long, long, time to come.
Yes...I guess in a way...I really DID like him.
Rest in peace Micheal.
Cheers;

I have always like all kinds of music my favorite was "pop" that was the best of all I love rock roll as well, But you're right about Michael Jackson he was the
"king of pop" and had a great talent as well for dancing he was the best just like
Gene Kelly, and his songs were great,

Yes I did see this program the other day and it was fantastic. There will never be anyone as talented as Michael Jackson especially his dance moves. He was one of a kind. I can recall seeing him on television when he was a kid and singing with the Jackson Five. His brothers and sisters are also all very talented but he had something special. May he rest in peace.

I haven't got to see it yet. My daughter has always wanted to see it. I want to get her the DVD she has always wanted it but at the time she wanted it I didn't have the funds. He is a good singer. I use to listen to him all the time when I was younger. Its a shame he passed.

Mee too. I've been a fan of his since he used to perform with his brothers...but then again, who's dating themselves?
If you DO get a chance to see it then I urge you not to miss it.
The amount of creativity and perfection that he put into this last endeavor will truly amaze you.

We don't have cable TV so I couldn't watch it. I have already seen it at the theater but I would love to watch it again this time on TV. Guess I'll just have to save up for the Blu-ray which is kinda expensive.
I know right? He's such a fantastic person. Not just a performer but a friend, a dad, a son, a human being. I love and miss him so much. I just cannot believe that it's already been a year since he's gone.
Rest in peace.

You are so right about him, I feel the same way as you do.
I don't have Blu-ray t.v. either, just regular cable. Keep an eye out for it and watch and see if it comes back on. Stations usually broadcast important shows like this several times during one week in any given month.
