aww thats cute^^ well in a first date he must talk sweet to the girl, being a total gentleman^^ he must ask her what things she likes to do, what places she likes to go to when she is out with her friends, have a nice conversation^^ also he can say some sweet words like you are so pretty^^ if he be himself for sure the girl will like him bcs she already accepted to go on the date with him so the hard part he did already^^ anyway he must be confident that all will be ok and he doesnt need to be nervous^^ wish the best of lucks to your friend and that he has a fabulous date^^

If your friend is shy and the girl is hot then leavi it to the girl; she will take him out. On a first date it would be ideal to go to a coffe shop. They can then for for a long drive. Its better to do things in an instant rather than plan. Like they have gone out for drive, he can ask her if they can plan somthing more.

I think he should take her out to a dinner or a movie or both. They should just sit and talk and get to know each other. Since he's shy he's probably going to take things slow so I think he should be fine, but tell him he needs to open up to her. Good luck to your friend!
