How to make money from Hubpages?

I just already join in Hubpages, but I don't understand about their affiliate program with Google, Ebay and so on. I don't see any earning menu on that site? How to make money from Hubpages?

I joined hubpages before and I wrote 3 articles there. I don't know how it works. I quit using that hubpages. I think it pays depend on the traffic of the website. You need a lot of visitors to earn money.

I see that Hubpages is a new land with me. I will try to discover it to find out the hidden treatsure. I hope I won't leave it so soon.
