Is there really thing such as SWEET GOODBYE?

I heard this words over the radio..I already forgot the station...and I was a bit confused.When you said goodbye to someone who really matters to you...its very hard right?...so how come its called SWEET GOODBYE?

For me goodbyes are never sweet. Its never sweet when you are saying goodbye to someone that really matters to you. I think bitter should be a better word.

i think sweet good bye means like when my one g/f and i went our different ways it wasnt a sweet goodbye, it was pretty much like screw you.. but if we went on good term then it would be a sweeter goodbye then what it was.
