Its not that bad always as some say..Is it..????
Why,can't bunking help us??..make us free from tension...cacophonous classes..
I used to bunk...whenever I felt..bored..my places of visit..is often...parks,libraries..sometimes a cinema...
I think it made me a different person...a thinking guy...lot more curious about the world,life...different from others who were just robots...
So..have you ever bunked...tell me ..what made you..?? Did it do anything good to you..???
PS: I was the best performer in my academics...
All response welcomed....
Have a great day/night...

I bunked class one day in my second year of B.A because my brother-in-law had come on a holiday and I was just enjoying myself with my sister, newborn niece in my parents' place. We also went to a movie that day and whom do I see? My favourite lecturer was there in the theatre. It was most unexpected.

It was a 'she' and she took our English Drama[Christopher Marlowe and the like] classes. I was her favourite student and was always the topper in her Subject. She is my favourite lecturer and I naturally felt like wishing to be swallowed by the ground at that particular moment.I am still in touch with her and she laughingly reminded me of the incident as late as after twenty five years since I left college. She is a great person and my all time favourite lecturer.SHe used to enact scenes from Dr.Faustus and I still remember that.Such was the impact.
It is more than 30 years since I left college. But I would always consider her my role model and have learned many things from her.

well its always because im bored with class. i dont think that missing class once or twice is not wrong. As because we are humans and not robots, we can get stressed and such.
school is always is a stressful environment.

This sounds quite bad but I took part in this during my school years! I had problems back then and I would join a particular crowd and off we would go to a local park to pass time and school wasn't the most important thing on our minds back then! As you grow older and mature you start to think differently though.
There were some teachers that I really liked and I would make an effort to attend every class but when it came to subjects like maths, well I had to get out of there! I'm ok with life now and I don't have any regrets, there's no point in that! As the years have passed I have taken a few courses and things are so different now, no more bunking or leaving classes! i think making a habit of bunking classes is a very bad thing. yes sometimes bunk the classes during school or college is not bad. moreover it's now becomes a trend. one must do every task within limits. so don't make a mind of always bunking the classes and don't make it a habit.

I did! he he. And no, I was not the best performer in my academics. I was terrified of my physics teacher, much as I loved the subject. She had this nasty habit of pinching and it ached for ages. So I tended to bunk her classes. :) No - it didnt do any good really. Wish she'd been more softer in nature, the country would not have lost a brilliant physicist!

I almost feel guilty answering to this topic, but yeah I've done this quite a number if times during college, I guess it was mostly the thrill of knowing you're doing something wrong that your parents would disapprove of..some of the most memorable times Ive had in college were during the times I wasn't in the class
