For me it isn't so much the questions that my children ask but rather the answers that they give that really make my day. My daughter is seven years old and so her line of reasoning is more realistic now, but I still remember asking her about her baby brother when I was pregnant with him. The question that I asked her was what he was going to look like and her answer was that he was going to look just like she does only he would have short hair. Truth be known, he looks nothing like her at all. She is dark complected with brown hair and brown eyes while he is very fair complected with blond hair and blue eyes. Then there are the times that I will ask Paul (now three years old) if he will go into his room and his answer is always "Don't lock the door."

My daughter who was 2and a half years old walks out of my elder sisters dressing room where she keeps her makeup stuff, with her hands behind. My elder sister asked my daughter"what is in your hand" she stretched both her hands and said I have fingers. We were all shocked and start laughing but she never laughed.
The same daughter I took her to admit in the nursery. She was quite happy but when she saw some children with their milk bottles, she refused to sit in the class. She said this class is for little children, her age was only 2,1/2 years. I had to go and tell the Principal and withdraw the money but in the meantime she became friendly with the Principal. The principal asked her name and her father's name. She turned around and ask the Principal what is your father's name, she was so impressed and answered. Finally, the principal admitted her in Kinder Garden 1, though she was underage. She had to get special permission from the Ministry of Education to sit in the class, the Principal arranged everything quite happily.

You are right, our kids have many question for us. They are very curious. I have a son 4 years old now. As a father, I often confused to answer his questions. I try to answer the real and the logic to his questions. For instance, he asked me why does monster always have a bad face? Well, actually there are no monster in this real world. He just ask it since he always watch power rangers and other movie. I just answer that monsters are bad guys and always figured as bad face. I also explain that bad guys isn't always have bad face. There are many bad guys have good faces. He would never satisfied. Then, others next question asked to me again...

This is not question and answer. but that made me laugh. The dentist admired him for healthy and clean teeth. But not my daughter. When on the way home I told to my daughter, "he drinks suffucient milk. That is why he is having healthe teeth. Then told my 7 year old son," Ja, mum, Milk is white. That is Why my teeth is also white."
