The game was total S H I T... England showed us up... they could have played a lot better, but instead they chose to dance with the ball, and when they actually got to the goal area, instead of shooting it when they had a chance they spent too long passing it around to other players and then giving the ball away. Lampards goal had me furious, it was well over that line, how the hell did they not see it??? The referee was forever getting in the way, even causing England to lose possession of the ball. Where the hell was Crouch?? If anyone should have had a go he should have for sure. Rooney has not played well at all at any of the games of the World Cup, I have no clue as to why people say he is the best player, because after seeing him in action, well he is useless, all he gives the game is a lot of ATTITUDE! Fabio has no clue, I blame him for putting them all in different positions, and the wrong ones, and I blame him for not getting Crouch on site! I am utterly ashamed of England, and have already taken off the magnet that I put on my car. Fabio walk away, you have no clue... Beckham get yourself your new job as England Manager, you have more to give to the team and country. Sorry about that rant by the way.. think I needed that lol!

Rosie, I agree with you. Crouch should have started the game, or at least been brought on at 2 - 0. He's a goal poacher, and he's good at it. Rooney should not have even started. Whatever he may have done for MU, he's failed to deliver in SA. And yes, Beckham could do a much better job than Capello. Okay, he got us to the finals in style, but he couldn't follow through. If that sounds nationalistic, well it is, and I make no apologies for it. We need a British manager, with fire in his belly and pride in his nation, to put us back on the soccer scene.

Well I'm rooting for Becks to take over, at least he's English. I love what Alan Hanson said - "Against Algeria they were abysmal but on Sunday they were four levels below that."

Wake up and smell the coffee - England are over rated, over paid and under achieving. They've let the country down, and I wish the Queen had the constitutional power to put them all in the Tower when they touch down at Heathrow. Not for the first time, I'm ashamed to be English.

I think England was thought a lesson in good football by Germany. I think they were thoroughly rooted 4-1 by Germany. Even if the goal that wasn't given was given, it still would have been germany for me. I think Rooney had probably his worst tournament till date. And the issues within the team and Fabio Capello's rigidness in playing 4-4-2 did not help the team at all!! Cheers! Ram

England was my favorite one as I am from UK too, I had wished many things but not all came true, England could have played much better, Rooney could have scored better but he seemed to be already tired when getting in the game, I appreciated Gerard, he has done what he could, he was playing infact, Oh God I was crying when I saw the match, then one goal could have been in the England camp if it was more lenient, maybe when they saw what happened they were already accepting defeat and it played bad on their morals with all the supporters around. I am sorry for England but they players could have done a lot more if they were willing to.

I did not think that England played well i thought that they were terrible. I know that they were unlucky that they were not given a goal when the ball had crossed the line but even if the goal had been given i still think that Germany would have finished up comfortable winners.

Hi Faisale, I think the goal that was agoal but wasn't allowed did affect Englands morale however prior to that they didn't play a good match at all, their defence was lousy, thereis no way James should have had to do the work he done as defence should have been there to avoid. They started playing better after their first goal but letthe second non allowed oneaffect the rest of the game, professionals shouldn't dothis. Looking forward to watching Argintina Mexico match as Mesi should makeit exciting. Huggles. Ellie :D
