There has been some speculation from supporters of Manchester United striker, Wayne Rooney may soon be up for retirement at the age of 25, whether this is true or not doesn't really bother me except for the fact that I am growing disappointed by his lack of performance. This has left his fans feeling quite maddened by the fact that he was once a top key player for England, but now is growing to be an embarrassing addition to the world cup efforts: today's match saw Germany win four goals with England only scoring 1! (The other one is still being debated)
Clearly this isn't Rooney's fault, it is to do with team effort but Rooney was the least confident and looked just as unfit as he did in his recent television commercial advertising the pitfalls of success. I really believe that now is the time to retire for him and perhaps some others who are well over-paid lack direction/ambition and stop humiliating himself as he does and his wife Coleen who must be ashamed of the fact that her husband is growing a rapid disrepute as a striker.

He should just vanish into thin air - he's got no talent and just makes our country look so pathetic!
