Everyone is aware of the fact that tree are cutting and jungles are ending rapidly. Everyone understanding now the importance of plants and trees around us. Do you ever take any step forward and plant and tree in your backyard or your locality, campus etc. If you have a space you must grow your vegetables or flower plants and should plant as many trees as possible to keep our space pollution free and lots of greenary as well which will help in controling the global warming also. What do you think about this? share your thoughts regarding gardening, plantations and about the nature.

I have also planted a tree when I was in school and was kid... It's a great experience to do so and still remember. Now, it has grown. Whenever I go to school I see that tree growing and growing... Planting a tree isn't as simple as just digging a hole and throwing the tree in it. Giving your trees the right care from day one is essential for long life and health. This means taking the time and care to plant a tree properly.
Remember do not plant in late spring or summer because the heat will stress the plant and may cause it to die. The best time to plant a tree is fall (autumn) or early spring. Thanks.

I am not a gardener because I don’t enjoy gardening very much. Having said that, I would love to plant a tree though. I may ask my husband to take me to a nursery where I can buy a tree to plant and be taught how to care for it. Although I don’t generally enjoy any kind of gardening I think I may receive a lot of satisfaction from planting and caring for my very own tree!

Though you don't love gardening, maybe you should look on this side and think about it: Gardening loves you, and needs you.

I love planting flowers and gardening.I am planning to renevate our garden this coming Christmas. The kids will definitely love it. Plants beautifies a place. Greeneries also makes a place cooler and much more pleasant to dwell at.

Nice move. Making our children participate in this kind of activity is wholesome. When they will grow, they will carry with the attitude of beautifying our environment. Guess what, with your children on this activity, your family bonding will be strengthened and will eventually enjoy being with their family rather with their peers.

We don't have a tree in our place but I wish we could have it because I believe it will be a good environment to have trees that you could feel the fresh air. So even if it is hot I believe the trees can help to have fresh air that we could feel the breeze.

Dear Dio,
I have planted many tress along with the national highway2 (GT Road-IN Allahabad, U.P.) in India. Many of these trees are now fully grown and have taken shape. Few of them are Neem Trees. I love to see them whenever I pass through the highway-I feel like they are all my children. I love them a lot.

Hi dio123, I feel really sad whenever I see people in my place get the trees in their compound fallen. I don't blame them if new essential construction is taking place. It's really disappointed that it's just for the sake of convenience. They prefer to cover the ground with cement as well as decent floor tile. They feel reluctant to sweep the fallen leaves and mow the grassy lawn regularly
I have two big rambutan trees growing in our left front compound. In the right courtyard there are two starfruit tree and a grapefruit tree. Besides we have various type of tropical flowers planted in their respective pots. We plant many varieties of vegetables which are easy to take care of in our courtyard as well. Apart from trees and greenish plants are friendly to the environment, we could enjoy the harvest from the plants growing at the same time
Happy posting!

I have planted trees before a few times but in my own yard. They used to hand out trees to school children once a year to bring home and plant but they don't do that any more. You would think with all the worries of global warming and such these days that they would still do that and encourage more people to plant trees. We have one more good spot out in the back of our house that would be perfect for another tree we will probably put another one in there either this year or next year.

Back on my elemntary days, we have a subject called HELE or Home Economecs, Livelihood Education, we have to do gardening, we plant vegies like taro and sweet potato. I never plant a tree but there's a opportunity to plant trees I will help. But now a days I think the government forget about this advocacy to be environmental friendly and aware that we need to plant trees for our sake too.

Yes i do plant trees, and vegetables. Personally, I am really bugged with this global warming. And in my own little way, I plant. In fact, before reading this post, I have already composed and invitation to all interested myLotters to plant even just a single tree. If this community has 208,604 members and a large percentage of it is willing to participate, the earth would additional trees to help cool our environment. Then, each participant will tell her friend and relatives how the earth is getting hotter each day and they will be touched and would care to plant. Then, we would have more trees, Eventually, many would read this article, spread the news, and hoolaa... the MyLot comunity would have contributed BIG to our mother earth by lessening carbon dioxide enveloping our planet. After all, it would be our future generation who'll be benefited.
What can u say?

Yes! We have to take care of our mother Earth and for that we should plant some trees in all possible areas. We , in our school days, planned a garden in front of our biology department and made it in 7 days. That is still a fond memory for us. We even dig a pond in the center and left some fishes and frogs. But now, I have no room in our home to plant a tree. But soon, I will have a garden in my new built house.

I have planted trees and planted gardens. I think i enjoy gardening more. There is so much to do in planting a tree to make sure it survives and grows. Gardens need tending, but not on as big a scale as a tree. A tree is lifetime commitment to the environment. That can be a difficult task at times. I enjoy the simpler pleasures of gardening.

Yes I do. I concern about it too. Everybody should care about global warming. The only one can avoid us from global warming is tree. Unfortunately, there are many people don't care to our earth. They cut trees everyday. In my country, Indonesia, there are many companies involved in wood processing and some of them are illegal. Illegal logging make me sad. Tons cubic of wood produces and hundreds trees cut down. It's very terrible. Let's plan trees for our future life. Save our planet!

Yeah nature is very much important for human life.. without it we cannot think of living peacefully.. Nowadays lots of trees are been cutting down for human purposes..We should think of preserving them. We need fresh air to live. I have a garden in my house. It is big and there we have trees which gives fruit and corns too. We have planted many flowers there. I just love my garden very much. I makes me feel wonderful when i see my garden.

My grandparents spend a lot of time to plant tree... I think that is a good thing, but when you plant a tree, you have to cure it and not "leave alone"...
We must respect the nature
