I am blessed!

I am reflecting on relationships in my life, and even though there have been many rotten apples in my barrel, lately I have some very good and helpful people in my life. I am grateful for them and hope that I am as good a friend to them as they are to me. For example, a guy I know needed someplace to store some equipment so I let him use my garage. He was to pay me $50.00 a month, but seeing as the man is really struggling I opted not to have the money. Instead, he does my lawn sometimes and has done some handyman work around my house. He built a trellis for my front yard. I try to pay him for the work but he will have nothing to do with it. The best I can do is have a little bottle of Coke on hand for him, and an occasional bologna sandwich. Another friend of mine is there for me regardless of what is going on in my life, and I am very grateful. Another one understands my financial position and when they want to go out to eat or go to the movies or have a barbecue they usually invite me to come along. I contribute when I can, but often I cannot and they give freely. I need to find some way to bless them, and I am not sure how I can do that. They also introduced me to a real estate agent who helped me get the house I now live in. She got the seller to come down on the price to be affordable, and that is a terrific blessing as I wanted my own house so badly. There is my good friend who often helps me with different things, such as digging holes in my yard for planting. There are tree roots for every hole and I often cannot dig through them so he does it for me. He's great at electrical stuff and fixes the timers for me on the outside lights, has taught me some things for my phone, etc. a real blessing to have in my life. Good friends give one peace and hope when they are a shelter from the storms in our lives. What are you grateful for and why?
