It's hard for me to start a discussion here, because i always discuss "Soccer" in soccer section. All i know is football is for American Football. So, which one is the best place to discuss let say World Cup 2010, here or soccer?

They should make it specific. Because now MyLot has double topics, soccer and football which is the same topic.

I agree, because they are a sport, but they are not the same. I know they do not use the same style ball.

We have call the things the way they should be called. Soccer should be called Football... why? its simple, they play all the match with their feet kicking the ball. Now Football (American Football) should be called differently because they use their feet just occasionally and its not the main part of the game. someideas "crashball - hitball - passball"

I think a lot of people are confused between the classification of Football and Soccer here at mylot. But you need to understand that the world over the game football is what americans call as soccer. That is the reason why people are confused. As far as we are concerned the game called as Football in America is actually Rugby!! :) Cheers! Ram
