Local on the 6's, on the 9's....what happened to the 8's?

Occasionally the local forecast will come when it says it should but most of the time, I miss it because by the 8 after that it's SUPPOSED to be coming on, it's either just ended or is finally coming on at 9 after. And that is when I even get to see it. I'm sick of them playing the storm stories and stuff without a break in between for my local forecast but they have plenty of time for commercials.
Just a rant. =)
Oh, and we have digital cable with the time set by all the stations and is supposed to be accurate with the weather channel..for those of you who might think it's my wall clock that is wrong. ;)

I am trying to remember exactly when it used to come on. I know for years it's been on the 8's but I think before they put it on the 8's it was on all the time. Of course now that they have all the other television shows on it, and you say commercials (I've not watched The Weather Channel In A While) it's a wonder why they even show the Local weather anymore.
Hmm, doesn't the commercials say when the locals are on? I remember they used to, if not that you could try the site itself.

Yeah, they show it at the bottom normally, but its not as detailed. They tell you every time it does come on, "And now, you're local on the 8's" And sometimes its 10 after or before 8 after...its so frustrating! lol
