If a kid ask you about how does a baby get inside the mommy's tummy or how is a baby being made, what will be your answer? I once was asked by my nephew about it before. I really didn't know how to answer it the best way. So I just play dead. What do you think will be your best answer?

My brother asked me this, and my mum also told me this when I was a kid. Just tell them that your parents make love and they decided they wanted a baby. If he still asks in detail, tell him they kiss a lot. The mommy will only have a baby if it's daddy that's kissing her.

Hi knicnax: I think that a kid will accept this answer and he/ she won't be curious about this subject for a while. Thanks for your answer. Have a nice day.

Hi bird: I agree with you. When you are talking to a little child you better chose the right words because you don't want to make them feel even more confuse. If we stat general things are going to be ok. Thanks for your answer. Have a nice day.

It is really a tough question if the one who ask is much older maybe it could be properly explained. But it is hard to explain to a young mind what is happening indie the adult world much less how to produce a baby and where it come from. It would be much better if we can use the chicken as example that babies comes from eggs and they might understand it easily.
If my nephew ask me out about it I just would say wait until you grow up and I will explain everything. There is no rush to explain delicate things like this to the young children because they don't need to be concerned what happens inside the adult's world.
We want them to be innocent as much as possible.

I was asked by my nephew when he was one year and a few months old. I was baby sitting for him, and while I was trying to make him get a nap, he asked me that question, out of the blue, and I was just shocked. I was twelve then, so even though I had an idea, I couldn't really find the words.
So I just said that God gives the mommies (and daddies) a blessing in a form of a baby. Later that day he asked me the same question two or three more times and I just said the same thing.

Hi sweet jette: Looks like your nephew was really curious to know a more specific answer. I wonder why this happend, what makes him think about this subject and what makes him want to know a "better answer". I think that you have given him a good answer at this moment of your life. Thanks for your answer. Have a nice day.

I say tell them the truth, how it is. Yes they are young, but they have to know. The obviously care because they are asking. So tell them. Thats the thing with parents. They avoid questions they think are inapropreate to ask and lie to them supposedly because they love them. If they do love them don't lie, tell them the truth.

Hi stephie: I totally agree with you and at the same time, I think that if they ask you it's because they trust in you and it's not good that they start thinking that you are not honest with them. If they want to know the answer it's probably because something makes them curious about this subject. A good question would be, why do you want to know this? Thanks for your answer. Have a nice day.

I will tell him that when two people are married and they love each other, they do something that only the two of them can do. And this is only possible between married couples like his mom and dad. I will also tell him that without love, the baby or even him will not be born. I will also tell him that babies are given by God to those couples who loves each other like his mom and dad. Wow, very hard indeed. Good luck!

It really depends on the age of the child. For a young child the answer can be very simple. Mommy carrys eggs inside of her tummy and when one is ready it becomes a new baby. Of course if the child is older then you need to know what the parents want said.

Hi dian: I think that in these cases you have to tell your little boy or girl the truth because. Don't lie to your kid, that's underestimating your kids intelligence and you know that kids are really smart these days. If he/ she is not satisfied with the answer he/ she'll ask to his/ her friends or he / she find the answers watching tv or surfing on the internet. You just need to find the right words to explain in a simple way this subject. Have a nice day.

If a KID ask you this, you should remember his age first !!!!. You cannot tell him details, he is not capable to understand.
So , its really hard answer, you can say they got married, and when you get married you will have children. Just try not to come to details and change the subject to something that is interesting him or her. Kids do not need this information.
