Needing Different Kinds of Input/Advice RE: Starting a Photography Business-Thx!

My husband is starting a photography business. We went and worked at a craft fair in a nearby town yesterday. Considering it was the first one (for him--I have a couple small businesses of my own), it went fairly well. The gal next to us was also a photographer and didn't sell anything at all all day long! But my husband, Peter, at least sold a 5x7! There was also a woman there who was interested in having a family portrait done. Any suggestions on pricing or on getting/developing pricing info? To those of you who are pro photographers, do you do craft fairs? Or how do you develop your business? Thanks, everyone!
