I was an engineering support trainee after graduation, I consider it as my first job though it was just for training. After that, I opted for writing. At the same time, I was an online project manager assistant for web development. After a year I tried the call center industry, but then as a quiet person, it was hard for me to keep talking for 8 hours. I salute the call center agents as they try to solve other people's concerns (and I mean a lot of people) in a day. I am now an IT analyst, and though I prefer development, I am hoping to last with this one. I can be a developer and/or writer on the side anyway. So I guess that would be four, and I'm sticking with my current job. :)

I am doing my own business and so there is no question of switching to other jobs. Regarding you, it is great that you are in the same job for three years. Most people now shift their jobs within a month for a handsome salary. It is in the past people think of loyal to a same concern. In this fast world, nobody cares for that.

Let's see. M first job was a Reservations in a Travel agency. Then I moved to Marketing in a Cruise ship. From there I moved to Marketing of a chain hotel. I was bored again and moved to be Personal Assistant in an export company. Now I am a Secretary in a garment Industry. It's good to move jobs, as you will gain more knowledge along the way.

I had 5 different jobs as a waitress. Then my husband decided I should stay home and raise our kids so I did that for 20 years. In that time we started our own business and increasded it. WE semi retired about 7 years ago. I went to work in a bakery and I loved the job and wouldn't have quit until I turned 62 so I could retire, but they fired me. Not that there was any reason too, but they wanted more and more. YOu can only fill a cup so full and it overflows! So that is what happened to me. In about 2 months I will have to start looking harder for a job or go back where I was. It makes no sense, they fired me but told me I was rehireable! I really don't want to go back there but I may have to!

In my 5 years of working, I already worked for 4 companies with different field. My first job is on a call center industry, then I moved to pharmaceutical, then Logistics and last is Travel industry. But I spent 3 years on the latter, right now I don't know if I still have to work because I am the only left to take care of my son but I still have the urge to work due to our growing expenses.

Hi hjr. I started working while still in high school, part time after school. To be truthful, I've had so many jobs I have lost count. I worked several part-time and temporary jobs while I was in college, then, when I graduated, I finally got a job I enjoyed...and I stayed there until I got sick and could no longer work. It takes a while to find a job you can live with, let alone enjoy, so be patient...you will find the one you want to stay with eventually.
