Many dogs are afraid of loud noises. Some noises like fireworks or thunder send them into a state of panic, giving them the "run for your life" state of mind.
With 4th of July coming quickly it will be that time of the year when many dog families could possibly lose their dogs when fireworks begin.
If you know your dog is afraid of loud noises, is time to make a plan for him to ease him into the upcoming Holiday. Choosing to ignore your dog's fear could result in tragedy such as him running away and being lost (possibly running into traffic and being hit by a car).
So, what do you do for your dogs on 4ht of July?

Yes nangisha, inu means dog in Japanese. That's why I use it for my nickname. I simply love dogs!
Is your dog the one from your avatar? It seems to be a big dog, isn't it?
My father used to make fun of me: "such a big dog you have, and she is afraid of noises!" In his oppinion, a big dog doesn't have to fear of anything...

My two dogs are really afraid of fireworks and I think we need to keep them in the house instead of letting them go astray on the road, because once they hear the sounds of fireworks they will start up by running in all directions so It is better to keep them in the house itself.

Certainly, the best thing we have to do is keep them inside.
Some people think that the backyard is a safe place, too. But the dog may be so terrified that he will try to escape. He can hurt himself in his attempts: if he dig, he can hurt his paws (there are dogs known for trying to dig in concrete in cases like this), he can cut himself if he tries to enter the house by window, he can jump over the fence and get into the street with the risk of being hit by a car... Never subestimate what a terrified dog can do, so we have to make sure he is in a really safe place during this Holiday.
