If it is something you are doing for work, money should motivate you, or at the very least keeping your job should motivate you. What do you think will help you if money and fear of losing employment does not?
I think writing is something you like or hate and you just have to do it to form a habit of writing. I'm not sure anything else will help you to write. Are you needing to make things up or do you have something particular you are writing like a spread sheet or a letter to a business? Might help to know the background of the question.

For business letters don't stress. There are a lot of good templates for business letters. Just do a web search of business letters and see what comes up. You can practice from them or you can use them to write the actual letter. Good luck in your job.

The way to cultivate the habit of writing is just writing. People who aspire to write should write a little each day, it doesn't matter if it's ten words or one hundred words or one thousand words. Whatever gets written will help the writer on a subconscious level because the writer will be able to see and think about writing in new ways. Also, it is good for a hobbyist writer to write lists or just thoughts about things going on in his life or philosophical things he's thought about or just little notes about different matters.

To cultivate the habit of writing regularly, the only thing you can do is write. Set aside a certain time each day and during that time, make yourself write. Don't allow yourself to be distracted. If you're disciplined at it, it will become easier and easier with time.

I'm in the habit of writing everyday. I don't really think writing on mylot is going to help you get into the habit of writing. I hear people recommend that, but I really don't agree. You need more than just a discussion forum to help you get into the habit of writing.
Two of the main things I do to keep me writing is to journal about anything and everything (Everyday), and I also read a lot.

You really have to put you'r mind into writing. It is something everyday i tell myself i must do to accumulate some extra earnings. You have to tell your self that you want to do and if you tell yourself you must do it then your going to do it. If you think about it long and hard you will just get up and do it because the earnings from it are really good every month.
I write on a couple different websites. I like doing some freelance writing articles and then i get paid per page view every couple months and that helps and i like that.

Think of some interesting titles that you would enjoy writing to. Then write to those titles-write to at least one title a day.

I am not also a born writer talent or not exactly like that but then I really love participating in discussion so that must have been my primary motivation to write because I could never participate in any intere4sting discussion i am too lazy in writing. I must choose only the topic that interest me and I have joys of participating because writing comes easily to me when it does.
But if i attempted to write something beyond my interest I find myself getting lazy and don't want to write at all. I guess writing need not to be forced let it flow to your entire being before you can enjoy it. You don't have to be a writer to experienced it.

You need to be disciplined to become a writer. Sometimes you might just feel bored of it, but you need to consistently pen down your thoughts for at least half an hour every day. That'll surely help..
