Shouldn't I have gotten at least one point for that. I did not receive any points for any of it, yet. How long does it take to reflect points? Does it happen automatically or do you have to wait 24 hours? I didn't see anything to inspire me to continue my efforts so I decided to get off of the computer. Before I gave up completely, I thought I might get some other views on it.

Oh ye of little patience. Our good friend AnythngArt and I just discussed a few days ago that points are awarded based on generating page views. Have you seen any response to your post? How many Gather friends do you have? DO you regularly post comments to their posts and photos?
I'll tell you what she told me. Spin the first paragraph of some of your non-exclusive AC stuff and post it to gather. Be sure to follow in Scheng's footsteps and add a link back to your content ("read more by following this link") as well.
I did that last week and my points went from the low 400s to up over 500. When you start getting active you'll see the points changing right away.

I will try to redo my articles and post the link. I do not have any friends or anyone that I follow or follows me, besides you two of course. LOL I don't have any photos or videos that I want to put on the internet.
I did put one article on there that has five links to my AC articles on the same subject. Hopefully that will get me page views at AC. LOL

Well how do you expect to get any points? You have to make friends and join groups. Some of your myLot and AC friends are also on Gather. Visit the Gather discussions here to find friends who are on both sites.

Thank you for letting me know. I wasn't sure if you needed to wait or not. I actually looked at it a few minutes ago and it did go up several cents. Well, at least that is something, right? I wasn't sure how long to wait. At least it wasn't more than 24 hours.
