hi there... i'm just wondering why you are washing your face often? to make you awake?? if your at home of course you can do it ,,but i don't think your going to ware eyeliner at home..:)) kidding aside,, whatever your reasons of washing your face often will really affect your eyeliner.. just avoid the eye your eye area.. or you can try this brand (CHANEL STYLO YUEX) its a waterproof eyeliner and so far this is the best eyeliner i ever tried.. I'm a volleyball player and we love taking picture after the games that's why i played volleyball w/ eyeliner on so my eyes are still lok good and i never had a problem of running down or smudging my eye liner :)) hope this one can help :)

MMMMMMMM.....im working as a beauty consultant and we sell skin care, make-ups and perfumes... if you have some concerns regarding the shine on your face, anything you put on your face (skin care) must be indicated that it is for oily skin. avoid moisturizer in cream texture... choose fluid type or lotion type of moisturizer.. even if you use powder foundation or even liquid foundation find for you skin type. then if you have make-up on you can just use oil blotting paper so your make up will still look fresh.. but if you really like to freshen up by water..there are some product that has face spray for you to refresh specially on the middle of the day...

If you are washing your face every 3-4 hours, don't splash water on your eyelids. If you're using waterproof eyeliner, it shouldn't run if you're avoiding washing your eye area. I hope you don't mind me asking, but why are you washing your face so often? You are probably drying out your skin. If you have to wash your face that often, what about using a wipe instead of cleanser and water?

I do understand! What about using a cotton pad and some oil free toner/astringent instead of splashing water? Using the toner would help keep the oil down as well. Good luck to you, I hope you find something that works!

Hi there! I also have oily skin and I've stopped wearing eyelinerway back in the first year in college because of the same problems that you're having not. But I replaced it with mascara since it still opens the eyes. But for the past year, I've been trying to get a way to avoid smudges even from the mascara cause it stills run down at the end of the day. I also am starting to really try to understand long lasting makeup for our skin type.
So here are some things that I've learned that could prevent smudges for the eyeliner.
1. If you're gonna place some eyeliner on the top part, try placing some eye primer on the lids (since you'll be placing the liner on the end of the lids), this helps hold the color in place.
2. Use a two way cake as a foundation (do not wet it) under the eyes or even the whole face since it stops oil longer. ( I tried this and it works)
3. Always blot your face with a tissue paper or an oil control film. Avoid washing it too much, it dries the face. Try a toner, or like the Evian spray, and avoid the eyes.
4. Keep a make up remover with you every time so that in case it smudges you can remove it and reapply.
5. Invest on a great waterproof eyeliner.
Hope this helps. :)

Im a dancer and performer and one of the problems we encounter on stage is how to keep our make up looking fresh through out the whole performance sweat can be very disastrous to your make up cause it tends to run it down . BUt what most of our femaler performer does is instead you using a pen liner i would opt that you change to a gel liner and then set it with a same color eye shadow powder :)
