This isn't for everyone and may sound stupid to others but it really does work if you can pull it off get four big water jugs labels quarters,dimes,nickels,pennies and your start date put your pocket change in right jug every night when you reach the day you started pay quarters on mortgage interest pay dimes on car loan interest pay nickels on credit card interest take pennies to bar and have a good time you will feel good about paying that little bit of debt off and it will catch up to you and be a great reward someday thanks for reading.

First off, welcome to mylot. I wish you a prosperous and exciting journey at mylot.
Now to your idea. I think it is very well thought out and a definite way to pay off your debts. Most of us don't carry much change in our pockets now, since most junk machines take $1 or higher. Instead of letting it lie around the house make a constructive use of it. Thank you for the idea. Twont work for me as I don't pay cash for much. I use my debit card and since I am disabled I don't travel a lot.
