Glass, Metal or Plastic?

When it comes to picking out a new piece from your local head shop what exactly are you looking for? I personaly love a good glass on glass bong. It preserves the flavor so well and gives you the cleanest hit. The only problem is that glass tends to get a bit pricy and breaks easily. Plastic will get the job done but after a short amount of use plastic pieces develop a nasty mildewy taste thats hard to get rid of. The pluss side of using plastic is the price. We can't forget about metal pieces. These are some of the most sturdy and reliable pieces out their, as its very hard to brake metal by dropping it. Metal pipes just tend to get hot very quickly and resinate fast. For my money im going to stick with glass but im also interested in your opinnions. What kinds of pieces do you guys like the best?

I prefer wood or stone things. If I have to choose from these two, I will choose wood better than stone, because wood pieces are effortless than stone.
These two materials I like better than plastic, glass or metal is because they are more closer to nature and are EKO friendly.

I forget to mention bone pipes, which also is natural material and is very good quality, only cost much.
